Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       India came to the Animal Rescue Network in September 2023 after being found wandering with her kittens in Montreal's Parc Extension neighborhood. She was outside in a busy and dangerous area. Some people had caught the kittens and were supposed to have the mother spayed by the SPCA and then released. Another well-intentioned person learned that India was going to be put back out on the street and decided to take her under her wing since, despite her fear, India was sociable. She and her kittens deserved good homes. India came to the shelter to receive the care and socialization she needed. At the end of her quarantine, we discovered that India was a carrier of feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). For more information about FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv    Despite this, she is in good health and can live a long and happy life indoors! India is a discreet cat who takes her time to trust us. If you approach her gently, however, you'll discover an affectionate and gentle cat. She loves to be scratched under the chin and loves to play! That's really what interests her most! She's greedy and increasingly curious. India gets on well with other cats, but couldn't live with young children. India is an adult cat so the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She is positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but negative for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it. You will also have access, for the first month following adoption, to a 30 minutes video consultation with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt her, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:25 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Bjorn was found as a stray in the spring of 2023 before being brought to the Animal Rescue Network in July 2023 to be socialized, receive the medical care he needed and then be able to find an adoptive family. Bjorn is a beautiful long-haired black cat. He's very discreet and took time to trust us. He's not very greedy or playful, so his socialization took some time. Now Bjorn likes to be stroked under the chin and on the head. He always stays hidden in his cat tree with the other cats, but pops his little head out to say hello. He loves Creamy and playing with little strings. Bjorn will need time and patience to adapt to his future adoptive family. He'd love to have feline friends, but given his gentle, calm nature, he wouldn't want to live with children. Bjorn is patiently waiting for his forever family! Bjorn is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within thr first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood (https://www.felinegood.ca).   In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:25 am
