Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/     Pouilles arrived at the Animal Rescue Network in August 2024 after being found in Laval. She was taken in by someone who helped her socialize with humans. She's a beautiful cat with a somewhat shy character at first glance, but don't let that fool you! Pouilles is in fact a cuddle-loving cat. It's simply that she likes to be approached gently. Once the initial contact is made, she'll rub against your fingers to be stroked. She's also very greedy and never refuses a treat. She also likes to play a lot! She has a long coat that requires maintenance. She has been neglected and has knots on her belly. So her family will have to take her in for grooming. Fortunately, she loves to be brushed. She seems to cohabit well with other cats, but would make a good single cat. She'll do best in a quiet environment without young children. She gets on well with other cats, but will not live with children. Pouilles doesn't like to be handled, even though she's a big fan of petting. Who will be lucky enough to welcome this princess home? Pouilles is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first 3 months following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt her, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:25 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/     Biscotti is a cat who loves to be petted, but she needs time to adapt to her environment. Continuous work is needed to approach her, but once she feels secure, she opens up and lets herself be approached. She takes full advantage, showing her belly and purring with delight. Her safe corners are essential for her, but the presence of other cats is also an excellent way to encourage her socialization. Biscotti has no aggression and loves to play, whether with her toys or, above all, with her brothers and sisters. We're looking for a friendly family, preferably with one or more cats, who will be patient and willing to continue working with her. Biscotti just wants to be petted and loved, and we're hoping to find a home that can provide just that. Biscotti is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She is not tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) or feline leukemia (FeLV) but her sister Cannoli is negative for both viruses. You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Charlot arrived at the Animal Rescue Network in March 2021 after being taken from an apartment with almost thirty poorly socialized cats. He arrived with a dozen other cats from that place and was terrified. It took almost 3 years for him to trust us and seek human contact. Today, thanks to the work of the shelter's socialization team, Charlot lets himself be petted! It's easier to do so when you have a tube of Creamy in your hand, but there are more and more moments when he accepts petting even without food. He loves Creamy and Greenies. He climbs onto our laps and lets us give him kisses while he eats his little tube of Creamy. However, when the tube is empty, that's often the end of cuddles with him! He won't let himself be handled, and therefore won't let his claws be clipped, so you'll have to accept this. At his age, it's unlikely he'll learn to let himself be handled. He really enjoys the company of the other cats in his room and would therefore like to be adopted by a family with another cat-loving cat, so as to have a feline companion who will enjoy spending time with him. He needs more regular brushing to avoid tangles in his coat. He's more motivated by food than play. He would not be a good match for a family with children or a dog. Charlot is an senior cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $175. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Sorbet was brought to the Animal Rescue Network in July 2023 after being found as a stray in Montreal's Villeray district. He was so skinny that the person who found him thought he was a kitten. In fact, Sorbet is far from being a kitten; he would be approximately 11 years old now! Sorbet was very stressed when he arrived at the shelter and hyperventilated. With time, he showed us his beautiful personality and we quickly realized that he was a very endearing cat. Unfortunately, Sorbet is a carrier of the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). For more information on FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv His FIV doesn't prevent him from living a good life! On the other hand, Sorbet has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and hypertension. He receives daily medication for these two conditions. The cost of these medications is around $200 a month. That's why we put him on the shelter's sponsorship program. Sorbet doesn't have a very long life expectancy, but he could live a few more years with a loving family. He will need follow-up visits to the vet every 3-4 months to monitor his health problems. Sorbet is a very affectionate cat who likes to be held and cuddled. He's a little nervous at times, but adapts quickly to new situations. He could live with children. He cohabits with other cats in his room without any problems. He's very greedy, so it's not too difficult to find tricks to get him to eat his medicine. Who would like to give Sorbet a good, peaceful end of life? The adoption of Sorbet is humanitarian, therefore the adoption fees for him are $0. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but he is negative for feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within thr first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:25 am
