Story
Raven is a sweet gentleman looking for his new furever home. He is a very tolerant and gentle soul, he loves attention and is super sweet. We have no history on his previous lifestyle, but came in as a stray with a bad flea allergy. Therefore, we believe Raven would be well suited for an indoor only home to limit his exposure to fleas in the environment, and should remain on regular flea treatments to be his most comfortable self.Raven did spend a couple weeks in a foster home, and we found out that he would prefer to live in an adult only home without other animals. His love of outdoors makes it difficult to want to stay inside, so Raven is looking for a home with access to a large catio to satisfy his cravings for his old outside life. Story
Meet miss Fleece. She and her siblings were rescued from a hoarding situation when they were fairly young. They are sweet kittens, so are a little bit on the shy side, and are looking for loving, quiet homes. They will make great little additions to their new families. Fleece is a long haired, grey tabby female kitten who is fairly quiet. She is a low key girl who enjoys cuddling with her feline friends. She is hoping to be adopted along with one of her siblings, or where there's already other cats in the home for her to cuddle with. Fleece has never been around dogs or children. She is quite a quiet girl so would prefer to be around older, laid back people. We believe she could learn to live with a calm, respectful dog if introduced properly. Since Fleece has a very fluffy coat, she will need a family who is willing to groom her regularly to ensure that her fur doesn't get matted. It will be very prone to knots if not cared for properly. If you'd like to learn more about Fleece or her siblings, please visit https://victoriapets.ca/adoption-process/ for more information about the adoption process and for a copy of our online adoption application.

Story
This seasoned tuxedo cat is looking for a home that will appreciate his sweet demeanour and his surprisingly loud and fierce rock star meow.Alice is very playful for a 17 year old cat! Despite his feminine name, he is in fact a handsome boy. He loves ribbons and wand toys, catnip kickers and foam balls. He's tries frequently to sit in boxes and paper bags because this curious cat loves exploring his environment. He will frequently march around the laptop fully alert when he hears the birds on Cat TV singing. What Alice seems to love most however, is receiving head and chin scritches from his humans. He will often lay across your leg purring loudly the entire time, and holding onto you appreciatively. When he's had enough, he'll move away with no fuss and no drama. Alice's meow can sound very demanding, but he can't help it - he only has one volume and one tone. From a distance, he does look like a grumpy shock rock star but he isn't mean and is more likely to strut over to you for pets and/or just to hang out.As an older cat, Alice does enjoy soft blankets - especially if they are in a pile - and he naps frequently. He is not disruptive at night, but he does prefer to have company often so Alice would thrive best in a home where he has a person/people around most of the time. If you are interested in giving this magnificent beast a great retirement, reach out to learn how you can be his forever guardian. Do you think you could be Alice's new person?2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.44 Age: 17yrs 1mths 3wks
