Story
Aero and Ajax came to us when the previous guardians found out that they had to move to the other side of the country. These two bonded cats prefer to live a regular routine and it would have been too disruptive for them. They are currently a bit nervous in shelter but we know that they would open up and show their beautiful personalities in the right home. We are looking to get them into foster but they are still currently in shelter so now would be the perfect time to come down and meet them. Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.dogs:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/cats:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Our visiting hours are:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5Thursday, Public Holidays: closedSaturday, Sunday: 12-4 Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 6.73 Age: 2yrs 5mths 1wks

Story
I adopted Sadie about 4 years ago from the Okanagan Cat Coalition and they felt that she was about 1 year old at the time. I am a senior and I am having health issues so Sadie is not getting the attention she deserves. She is a sweet, gentle and loving cat that loves to be brushed and petted. She hasn't been around men or kids much but warms up to women quickly. She is friendly with small dogs. An ideal home for her would be with a single woman, which is what she is used to. I am passing on her cat carrier, 3 level cat tree, brush, litter box and toys.

Story
FOR ADOPTION: IGGY is a stunning smokey black approximately 1 year old female looking for a forever family that loves cuddling as much as she does! Iggy was the third sweet young cat found in the area around the Wildlife Shelter in Smithers this fall and the second that was brought into a local vet clinic to be euthanized simply for showing up at the wrong place. Iggy is very lucky that the vet staff refused to euthanize a healthy, friendly cat and that they were able to hold onto her until our overflowing shelter had the space to take her in. Iggy was malnourished and well on her way to being emaciated when she was brought into the vet clinic, this is not a girl that will thrive fending for herself. With a steady diet Iggy has put in some much needed weight but chances are very strong she will always be a petite girl. Iggy takes a little time to warm up to new animals but once she knows they are friendly she is happy to share her space with other friendly cats and calm dogs. She could just as happily be an only pet that takes in all the attention in her home. Iggy is excellent with respectful children and could very easily be a beloved family pet. This little lady is all about the snuggles, she would cuddle away an entire day if she was able to. When not cuddling Iggy can be found doing typical young cat things such as batting around her toys and filling up on snacks. Iggy has been quite happy indoor only but could enjoy some time in a catio or in a safe and secure yard. She is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for an adorable cuddle machine apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet IGGY #NWASIggy

This is Lola, and just like her brother, she knows how to give "grumpy cat face". This beautiful girl is shy at first but once she feels settled, she is a very sweet cat. She is quiet and calm and would love a home that will allow her to come out of her shell. She loves head scratches and loves and is quick to purr and show you her belly. If Lola and Bodie sound like the cats for you, please fill out a pre-adoption agreement or call the center for more informationhttps://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.3 Age: 7yrs 10mths 2wks

Story
Bodie is a handsome boy who came in with his sister and is now looking for his forever home. This boy has got the perfect "grumpy" face. This sweet boy continues to come out of his shell and we have found that he is very affectionate. He is quick to purr, roll over and make air biscuits. He enjoys being brushed, especially when there are treats involved. He would love a quiet home with no small children and no other animals other than his sister, Lola. If the pair sounds like a good fit for you, please fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire or call the center for more information at 250-509-0297 https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.89 Age: 7yrs 10mths 2wks
