Story

Sanderson is the son of Sanders and a very sweet boy. He is a beagle bulldog mix. Beagle head, bulldog body. His tail was cropped. He came to us from a breeder who wanted him gone because of a cough. He has not coughed with us and was probably allergic to the bedding. He is almost 4 month and about 20 lbs, very affectionate and house and crate trained. He is a true pleasure to have. Adoption Fee: $485. All our dogs are fixed, microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.

Noel came from a family that got way over their heads with the number of dogs in their care. With 21 dogs in the house and very few visitors Noel didn't have much exposure to what it means to be a good doggy companion. She has spent the last couple months learning from the pack and is making great progress. She is a beagle, mountain cur mix so all hound. She is 45lbs and about 18 months old. She has a surprisingly deep bark for her size but doesn't bark often. She should be crated at night to avoid accidents. She is slow to trust but very loving once she realizes she isn't going to be hurt. She is good with cats and other dogs, just needs a slow introduction. Adoption Fee: $360. All our dogs are microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.

What a loyal girl. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs. Adoption Fee: $310. All our dogs are microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.

Story

What a sweet and loving boy. Whiskey was given away to a person that later dumped him on a rural road. We found his prior owner and they agreed to let us keep him in the rescue. The said he barked all the time but he was left as an outside dog. I would bark all the time too! He can get a little jealous of other dogs but is easily corrected. He cannot be left outside without a good fence because he will roam. He does pull a bit on the leash so a front clasp harness with a martingale collar will be best for him if you are walking him in town. Adoption Fee: $395. All our dogs are microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.

Marley is my foster dog who was abandoned and left by his owner. 25-30 pounds. Super friendly little guy. Very smart and knows all basic commands. House trained and does not need to be crated when I am not at home or working all day. I work 10-14 hour days and he respects the home, does not chew or destroy anything in the home. Great with kids, other dogs and cats.

Story

Murphy is a loyal, loving boarder collie mix that we adopted as a puppy from a shelter. He is good with our family and pretty good with out kids but due to the herding nature of the boarder collie in him, he can get mouthy and anxious when not at home or when new people come over. We have went through training, obedience classes, etc. he’s smart, high energy, but ultimately would be better off with someone that can let him roam a farm or large property with a “job” for him to keep busy. He can be protective and want his people together. He herds our chickens, and loves that. But we enjoy traveling and camping and have not been able to calm the barking at campgrounds. He playful but does bark at other dogs. Please let me know if you have any questions. We want to find a home for him that’s a better environment for him.
