He wants lots of loving, and to be left alone when he eats. Yup, he has a tad bit of food aggression. For this reason, children in the household must be over 12 years old. He is housebroken./ has been in the boarding facility for over a year so will need crated and put on a schedule in his new home. Blake is dog friendly (but we haven't introduced him to something under 30 pounds) He loves everyone he meets, loves attention, going on outings to the pet store, and the company of other dogs. Lonnie and Woofy were brought to the kennel and abandoned (never picked up) in the fall of 2022.*** Woofgang has been adopted . Lonnie is a 5 year old pit bull who is a happy, energetic guy who weighs around 65 pounds. He likes everyone he has met. He is a gentleman in the tub , and enjoys going for walks. He is good with other dogs, but we have not seen him around cats or kids. He is housebroken and crate trained. TEDDY 3YRS 30LBS MALE AUS CATTLE DOG LISA 1YR 20 LBS FEMALE MIX MUST HAVE ACD/HERDING BREED EXPERIENCE BONDED PAIR-Ever wanted a dog for you and a dog for your sig other but were afraid of clashing personalities? Well, not here because these two love each other, a LOT, so at least you know they get along perfectly and there is one for each of you. 2x the love!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And man, are they CUTE!) They travel often in the car with me for over an hour at a time - they do ride crated. Load up easy and ride quietly- unless we go through a drive through then Lisa has opinions about what she wants too. She likes to play ball, but not as intense as Teddy and will just let him get it and go find something else to do. They play and wrestle with each other and other dogs. Not overly rough but will get on ground with each other. They love to run laps in the yard chasing each other. They leave my uninterested dogs alone, as there is always someone else to play with. Lisa did not get along with my 1 male foster - just a little 10 pounder . Not sure who to started the war, but I did not leave them loose with each other * no actual fight/injury/contact ever occured. There was alot of noise 1 time, and they would grumble at each other when passing by each other's crates/run at work. Teddy is pretty easy going but doesn't like to be corrected. He will get bossy -verbal and pin someone who tries to But a sharp HEY from me and he will stop and walk away * never has been a fight or injury. Loves to play fetch and the other dogs do not challenge him to get the ball away from him. He would definitely destroy a stuffed toy if given the chance. They both love to chew on antlers/ nylabones/Benebone etc Teddy is a super cuddler and happy to hang on the couch or bed. Lisa loves attention too but takes a bit more to settle down at first. Both settle quickly and Quietly in a crate. They are both jumpers and when seeking attention. They have gotten better, but would need to be reminded of their manners going forward. We do not require a fenced BUT they would need a secure area to be able to run in and burn off energy weekly. Crate trained and housebroken This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. JONESY MALE 3.5 YRS 28 POUNDS We're not sure what Jonesy's life was like before he was rescued, but seems like it was a ruff one. He was found injured laying in a ditch ( after being hit by a car) His front leg was dislocated and had several other injuries. Thank fully he was found and taken in for some help. He had his front leg fixed and meds to help heal the rest. He came to AJs happy and ready for his next steps to finding a forever home. He still had a slight limp so xrays were taken and there was a suspicious looking area on his rear leg that needed to be further examined. This week he had his follow up, with a new set of xrays, and all though he does have some arthritis. Day to day he has no issue and is happy and healthy. He is on a joint supplement to help promote healthy joints, but no medication. He also has a notch of his ear missing from some prior incident that we dont know anything about. He is a friendly dog who seems to do well with everyone. He is dog friendly, but seems edgy around pushy male dogs. He is overly interested / seems to have a prey drive, so cats (or other small animals) are Not a good fit for him. We have not seen him around children. Loves to sunbath , and could hang out while you do yard work. Or would happily go for a walk with you, then take a nap I'm a comfy spot. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. ROME MALE 5MONTHS 10 POUNDS Rome came to us from a pound in KY. That pound had him marked as a chihuahua mix. We are not sure what breeds are in his DNA, but probably quiet a few. We are guessing him to be a 20 pound adult. He has a short easily maintained coat, and is good for getting his nails done. Loves to play with other dogs. We have not seen around cats or kids. Crate trained and doing good on house breaking. He goes potty quickly one you take him outside to the grass, but hasn't quite learned how to tell you he needs to go yet. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.
