Story
Gatsby is the sweetest, most loving boy you will ever meet! Whether human or dog, he just wants to be everyone's best friend. He is a great snuggle buddy, and will want to just lay around with you, but if given an open park he will run all day long. He knows commands like sit, lay down, etc. but is very treat motivated so he could probably learn any trick in the book. He would love a house with a fenced-in yard where he can play! We want to find him the best home possible, so please reach out with any questions.

Story
I got my dog from a friend. She is 3 years old and her birthday is September 20th. I am looking for a new home for my sweet girl because I simply just don’t have the time for her. I work full time and I have no one to take care of her and she deserves all the attention in the world. She’s cuddly, a love bug, energetic but calm, playful, goofy, and protective. She is potty trained but she is not the best socially. I got her while I was still in school and didn’t have the time to take her around many people or dogs. Overall she really is a good and sweet dog.

Story
When Knox arrived at the shelter, he was in rough shape—surrendered suffering from severe mange, covered in fleas & clearly neglected for far too long. But despite his discomfort and confusion, his gentle eyes & slow tail wags told us one thing: he hadn’t given up on people, even if they had given up on him. After weeks of care, medicated baths & more love than he probably ever knew before, Knox has made a full recovery & is ready for his next chapter—a forever home. Knox is about 3 years old & has the sweetest, most soulful personality. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs & would do great in a home with a canine buddy or two. He's calm, affectionate & loves to be near his humans—whether that means lounging on the couch or sleeping quietly in bed during movie night. He walks well on a leash, is learning basic commands & is eager to please. Knox isn’t just a survivor—he’s a shining example of the resilience & trust that this breed is world-renowed for. He is ready to be someone’s best friend. If you’re looking for a companion with a heart of gold & strength born from second chances, Knox is your perfect match.

Story
Gretchen was found wandering the streets with her best friend by her side—two stray souls sticking together, searching for safety. Her striking red brindle coat with a white blaze down her face & her warm, affectionate personality won over the shelter staff immediately. Despite her uncertain start, she has proven herself to be gentle, loving & full of life. Estimated to be around 4 years old, she is a nice medium-sized dog with soft, intelligent eyes & a playful spirit. She’s forms bonds quickly & loves being close to her people. She’s also dog-friendly & would do well in a home with another pup—especially one who enjoys companionship as much as she does. She walks well on a leash, is picking up basic commands & has a calm, easygoing energy that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s exploring the yard or snuggling on the couch, she is happiest just being part of the pack. Now she is just looking for a forever home where she’ll be loved as much as she loves back. If you're ready for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Gretchen is your girl!

Shar Pei

Female, 4 yrs
Camden, OH
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Azula is a 4-year-old Shar Pei mix with a big personality and even bigger opinions. She’s sassy, expressive, and not afraid to let you know exactly how she feels—with snorts, jumps, and the occasional dramatic “yell” when dinner is late. Azula is deeply loyal and happiest when she’s with her humans. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or sneaking snacks in the kitchen (she’ll know), she’ll be right there by your side—probably asking for a bite. She’s very food motivated and smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. She’s selective with her dog friends and prefers calm introductions, so she may do best as the only pet or with a compatible, respectful canine buddy. No cats for this girl, and she’d likely thrive in a home with older kids who respect her space and quirks. Azula is a character—funny, loving, demanding, and full of life. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind companion with lots of love (and attitude) to give, Azula might just be your perfect match.
