Story
This beautiful 2 year old brindle beauty is Violet! Violet is a 2 year old pittie and is full grown at 60 lbs. Violet has such a beautiful soul! She's a very shy girl, but once you spend some time with her and get that first tail wag, your heart will just melt. Violet recently went to the vet and did great at her appointment! It was her first time going to the vet ever, because in her past life she was used for breeding and never got medical done. Violet was quiet and stoic getting all of her shots and even her heartworm test done which was negative. Good job, Violet! Violet recently moved into a foster home where is is doing great! She is learning all of the good things about living in a loving home for the first time. She can't wait to find a forever family who will give her the happy ever after that she deserves. If you'd like more information on Violet, email us at therescueinn@gmail.com or complete an adoption application: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

Story
Levi is looking for his forever home! Levi was born 11/2023 so he will be 1 year old in about 3 weeks. He is a Running Walker Foxhound and seems to be on the smaller side of the breed weighing around 50 pounds. Levi is great in the car, and he will need a home with plenty of space for him to run and play. Levi is good with other dogs and a very smart boy! He already knows many commands. Levi is currently taking private training sessions at Dog Gone Crazy. A Canine and Feline FUNhouse and doing great! He's mastering walking nice on a leash and working on a great training foundation. Levi does best with children 16 years old or older as smaller children make him uncomfortable. Levi is very friendly and doesn't jump on his people for attention. Levi will make a great outdoor active partner for some lucky family! If you're interest in Levi, email therescueinn@gmail.com or submit an adoption application here as a next step: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

Meet Roxy! Roxy is an adorable little lady who had no problems adjusting to foster care life! Roxy is a 7 year old American Eskimo. Roxy is in foster care with dogs of all ages and sizes. She is potty trained and crate trained. Roxy is good well on leash - way better than we expected since she just started learning what a leash and harness is. Roxy is curious on her walks and will excel with practice. Roxy is a leaner, always leans on her foster mom's leg when Roxy comes in the house for attention. Roxy is quite the snuggler! If you are interested in Roxy, email therescueinn@gmail.com or complete an adoption application here: therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

Story
Update on Charlie: Charlie has been settling into his foster home and is doing very well. He enjoys taking walks, playing ball, and being outside. He absolutely craves being the center of attention and is more than happy to sit by your side, letting you pet him until one of you falls asleep. He has started working on clicker training to learn basic commands. He does a great job in his crate and is working on learning to settle and rest outside of the crate as well. Charlie was a last-minute save from a shelter in Ohio. Charlie has had a rough start in life and needs some structure and guidance to be the best dog he can be! He currently is in a boarding facility, where he is well-loved by the staff, and we are looking to place him into a foster home soon. He has an injury to his left rear thigh but is recovering nicely. He loves going on walks and does well on leash. He also enjoys playing ball in the yard. From what we've seen and tested, he seems to do well with other dogs but we would recommend only one other dog in the house with him. He doesn't do well with cats, since he wants to chase them. He is house and crate trained, neutered and UTD on vaccines. See Charlie and all his friends on our page https://www.midwestbordercollierescue.org/alldogs Location: Northeast Ohio Contact: team@midwestbordercollierescue.org

Story
Hi there! I'm Tuesday, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! If you're interested in adopting me or just want to learn more, please reach out to Rachael at 440-773-0270 to set up a meet-and-greet. Here's a bit about me: Housebroken: I'll let you know when I need to go outside by ringing bells or giving you a nudge. Crate-trained: I'm comfortable in my crate, especially if I have some treat-filled toys to keep me occupied. I might get a bit too excited with the toys, though, so it's best to use them mainly when I'm in the crate. Free-roaming: I'm trusted to stay out of the crate now! While my foster mom is at work, I enjoy napping, watching squirrels, or playing with my toys. Quick learner: I know commands like sit, down, stay, come, shake paw, no-jump, and off. I'm still working on heeling, but I can do it on either side. I understand "okay as a cue to relax. Toy lover: I enjoy a variety of toys-fetching them, bringing them to you, or just playing by myself. Active and athletic: Whether it's walking, jogging, or running, I'm up for it! If you prefer a quieter activity, I love running around a yard. Car rides: I'm a pro at car rides and enjoy trips to different places, like the Metro Park. Snuggly: Once I get to know you, I'm all about cuddles and giving kisses! Social skills: I'm working on meeting new dogs. I can be a bit nervous at first, but I warm up quickly. Especially to younger dogs that are respectful. Special needs: I'd be happiest in a home without other animals or a younger dog that will give me time to warm up. I do think I would rather not live with small kids because I don't really like to share my food and toys. If I sound like a good fit for you, get in touch with Rachael at 440-773-0270 to arrange a meeting. I can't wait to meet you and see if we're a perfect match!

Story
Are you looking for a super smart, funny, and loyal dog who tells you exactly what she wants? Then look no further than perfect Pippa! **Pippa will be doing a 16 day stay & train at Paramount. She'll have free follow-up for her adopter to continue training methods. She'll be on and off leash trained** Pippa is a 5 and a half year old Coonhound and weighs about 60 lbs. Do NOT let her age fool you-Pippa has a fire for life and adventure. Pippa is known for hopping up immediately for a walk, and will race to volunteers’ cars for the opportunity for a car ride! She enjoys a good long walk in the park, a good back scratch in the grass, and then a nice cuddly nap. Another LOVE of Pippa’s is swimming! She got to go on a few dock diving trips this summer, where she had an absolute blast in the water. She was well-behaved and so adorable in her life jacket. Pippa has one of the most memorable personalities that ARF has ever seen. She is so loved by volunteers for her intelligence, humor, and sass. Pippa is not shy to let volunteers know when she needs to go out, when she wants to play, and when she's ready to nap. She makes volunteers laugh when she rolls halfway on her back and falls asleep with her front feet in the air and ears falling over her bed. In addition to being smart, Pippa is also very strong, but so are her growing training skills! She is a graduate of our Grafton training program, and although it may take some practice with her new owners, Pippa is treat motivated which helps with training. The best furever home for Pippa would be one without small children, as she loves her toys too much to share. Pippa is adorable in that she is crazy about fun toys, but she also is very protective over them, so older children or adults only is a must. Although Pippa doesn't mind other dogs, she can be selfish with her toys and food so we believe she would do best in a home without other dogs. She needs a home that is a good mix of active and couch potato. If you believe this smart and spunky Coonhound should be your newest family member, please reach out to her consultant Rachael at 440-773-0270.
