Story
Mookie is 45 lb, adult female, three-year-old, submissive, well-trained, very playful and gentle American Bully. Mookie gets along well with ANY HUMAN, younger and smaller animals such as kittens and puppies. She can be rambunctious when it comes to dogs her size, however, she tires quickly. She has never had an experience with an older cat. She is absolutely not an attacked dog or a watchdog. So if that's what you need she is not the one. Mookie is a rescue from a breeder who could not sell her due being the runt and multiple ailments that have been stabilized for a few years. Mookie has a compressed tailbone which causes her to experience pain and limited mobility in her hind legs. She is fully stabilized now but she will eventually need wheels for her hind legs and should never go on long walks or frequently up and down the stairs. Mookie will always need HYDROLYZED dog food due to her gastrointestinal sensitivity and two types of medications for her hind legs (Carprofen and Gabapentin) unless you find an awesome vet who can manage her condition with a more natural approach. Mookie is house trained with no accidents but currently uses a doggie door at her liberty. Even though she is well-trained in different ways you may have to work with her to get her on a bathroom schedule or establish some type of communication that she needs to use the bathroom. The American Bully has been recognized by the European Bully Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club. American Bullies have been bred to be a human companion dog. When you adopt Mookie, he will bring his own kennel, harness, leash, stroller, toys, massage mittens, feeding bowls, and lots of blankets. The works! Note: This is a curtesy post for a friend of Crazy Cats. Mookie is not in our care. Please call Lynette to discuss Mookie and her adoption at 513-605-0771.

Story
Buddy is a very sweet, docile Pit (mix?), 8-10 yrs old, who will need a new home in the next couple of months. I'm helping my son, S, find the perfect family. Buddy is super chill and gets along with everyone, including S's cat, my grandkids (2 & 6), my cats, and my grumpy old dog. He just hangs out wherever you bring him, and is especially happy with a bed or sofa, a cuddly blanket, and some sturdy chew toys. Buddy appeared on S's porch late one night in early 12/2023. He was emaciated, but we found the owner who agreed to let S temporarily foster, as he couldn't keep him. Digestive issues cause bloody diarrhea occasionally. Blood & fecal studies gave no answers, daily Metamucil has helped lots. S has loved Buddy's companionship, but between S's long hours at work (he goes home mid-shift to let Buddy out), cleanup, having to move (roommate moved out), and the unavailable time & unaffordable expense of additional medical testing, he wants to find a safe, permanent home for Buddy.

Story
Ruby has lived with us since we adopted her at 8 weeks old. She is sweet, semi-energetic, and unaware of her size. She loves people but can be shy at times. She has been good with other dogs while boarded at Dogtown but has been food aggressive and needs to be fed separately. Ruby is not a good fit for our home after adding another new baby to the mix. She is gentle with the children but is so large that she could easily hurt someone when she runs to the window when someone walks by the house. She loves to tear up children’s toys and claim them as her own. She is huge and can easily reach the kitchen sink or anything that’s left out on a counter and will happily help herself to a free snack. Ruby would be an excellent guard dog or livestock guardian for larger animals. Her bark is loud. She would do best in a home with lots of room to run around and no small children. She deserves more attention and a better life than we are able to give her. Prior Pyrenees owner would be best.

Story
ROSCOE! Super handsome, 4-year-old loving mixed breed boy is looking for person who will give him plenty of exercise & enjoy snuggling. :) Great with dogs & cats! Neutered & up to date on all shots and is regularly seen at Animal Care Center in Blue Ash. All health records available, including behavioral which he passed with flying colors. He is my son's dog and we are looking to rehome him because he just moved into a one-br apt that does not allow pets. He is currently living in a house with fenced yard in Blue Ash. I can answer any questions you may have. Thank you!

Story
Luey is a very lovable 4.5 year-old who loves to take walks and snuggle on the couch. We have raised Luey since he was a puppy. We recently had our second daughter and Luey is not adapting well to the two young children. He is a great dog, but we cannot provide him the environment he needs. He would do best in a home without young children.
