Story
Luna is a 4 year old American cocker spaniel. She isn't good around small children, or other dogs in the home. She is housebroken, up to date on all shots, microchipped and walks well on a leash. Cockers are territorial and Luna can be protective of her things. She loves to sit outside for hours. And, she is very sweet and intelligent. Luna will make a great companion for her person. She loves to ride in the car and is a great travel companion. We have an invisible fence and Luna learned very quickly the boundaries of the yard. She is friendly with the neighbors, too. I have small grandchildren at my house on a regular basis and this is the problem. I am currently sending Luna to dog sitting at Dogtopia, she does very well there, but the cost is something I can not afford going forward. Luna would be fine for a single woman or an elderly couple. She loves her walks and is very food motivated. She knows basic commands of sit, down, stay, stop. Luna has been treated well.

Story
We acquired when he was just a puppy, he was the family pet for 2 years until my ex - boyfriend and I broke up. For the next 4 years Royal was with my ex., from what I have heard Royal was left in a cage for most of that time. Royal is now 6 years old. He was dropped off at my apartment by my ex because he couldn’t take Royal to his new apartment. Royal is very good with children and women, but is a little timid with men due to not being treated well by my ex. Royal will come to men, but will act scared, lowering his head and putting his tail between his legs until he get to know the man and knows that the man will not hurt him and then he is very loving with the man. My male friend has been over several times and petted and talked to Royal and Royal now treats him like he is a part of his family. I think with someone that has the time and space to work with him he will be able to overcome this problem and live the life he deserves.

Story
WILL NOT ALLOW HER TO BE A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!! Toph is an 8 year old female spayed lab mix; who loves to be active. She is great with other dogs, and tolerates cats. I dont know how she would be with children. She loves her food and doesn’t want other four legged friends to get too close; and she needs help working on this. She loves toys, treats, cuddles, playing, and being goofy. Toph is a very high energy and high activity driven dog who would do best with a very active family. She has 2 torn ACL's and because of her high energy she wasn't eligible to have surgery.

Story
Sugar may be a special needs girl, however, the emphasis is on the word 'Special.' To know this girl is to love her! Despite her diabetes and blindness, she is a happy, extremely loving and lovable dog. She just wants to have a family or person to love and cherish her. It may take her a moment to warm up to some men, but it's all about smooches from there on out! Sugar loves car rides and rides quietly and well, she likes to be by someone and does well on a leash. She would prefer to be the only pet, though, and would need a home where someone is at home much of the time. This girl is well worth the time and effort!
