Story
Luna was taken from her original home most likely to neglect. She is very sensitive to correction and does not handle smaller dogs well. She does well with two bigger dogs. She is good with kids but is excitable and tends to jump. She is a cuddle bug and demands attention. She does run away when not on a leash.

Story
Tony & Diane 3-4 years old Good with cats✅ Good with other dogs✅ Tony and Diane are a pair of magnificent Great Pyrenees, around 3-4 years old! They are both fully house trained. They both know “sit” and walk nicely on a leash. Tony, fully vetted and neutered, is a sweetheart but initially standoffish. He needs a moment to smell new people, once he does, he’s all love! Diane, who is scheduled for her spay soon, is incredibly sweet and laid-back. While they are not completely bonded, they have been together their whole lives, and we would love for them to stay together. These two thrive outside, no matter the weather. They respect fencing and have shown no interest in escaping. Tony and Diane do well with other dogs, though Tony prefers not to have other dogs near him while eating—except for Diane, of course. At heart, they are true protectors and would excel in a home where they can move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. If you’re looking for loyal, gentle guardians with loving hearts, Tony and Diane could be the perfect pair for you! Please email theredbarngoofynewfyrescue@gmail.com us for additional information or for OUR application!

Story
Pru is a sweet and loving young mastiff, estimated to be around 1.5 to 2 years old. Despite her rough past, where she was used as a breeding dog and didn’t live in the best conditions, Pru is a very happy and playful girl who just wants all the love and attention she can get. She is a very well-mannered dog who walks nicely on a leash and does great in the car. Pru knows several commands including sit, shake, and lay down, and she is completely house trained. She is also very social with other dogs and has shown no signs of aggression towards people, food, or other dogs. Pru responds well when called, and her sweet temperament makes her a great addition to any family. While we’re unsure how she would do with cats at this time, we believe she would thrive in a loving home that can give her the attention she deserves. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Application Link: https://www.new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-19 Adoption Fee: $310 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. Noel came from a family that got way over their heads with the number of dogs in their care. With 21 dogs in the house and very few visitors Noel didn't have much exposure to what it means to be a good doggy companion. She has spent the last couple months learning from the pack and is making great progress. She is a beagle, mountain cur mix so all hound. She is 45lbs and about 18 months old. She has a surprisingly deep bark for her size but doesn't bark often. She should be crated at night to avoid accidents. She is slow to trust but very loving once she realizes she isn't going to be hurt. She is good with cats and other dogs, just needs a slow introduction.

Story
Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-20 Adoption Fee: $310 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. What a loyal girl. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs.
