In Olmsted Township - Hey everyone! Let us introduce you to Mr. Max R. Roni. Max is an almost 7 year old Australian Shepherd. He’s had a sad past, losing his home, his mom and dad and now looking for a forever home to accept him as he is. It’s time for Max to find his furever home and thrive. Max came to ASF grossly overweight. He has been with his foster for several months trying to get some of his weight off and to help him be happy again. He’s lost a lot of weight already and is feeling much better. Max is a gentle old soul. When in the house, he’s pretty chill… he’ll find his spot and most of the time he’ll hang there alone. He will bring you his tennis ball (his FAVORITE toy) and wants you to toss it once he gives it to you. Max really loves butt rubs and being petted. He gets super excited to go outside and play ball or chase or catch a rolled Frisbee. When it’s time to quit, he just finds a spot to lay down. Max gets nervous on car rides and isn’t a fan. He’s very content staying at home. Walks are okay; he’s a bigger boy so he does pull some. Max is great left in the house all day: no accidents, no destruction. He does like the couch and would prefer to share your bed. Max has an issue with resource guarding toys… all toys belong to Max. Thus, a home with a submissive female or as an only dog would be best. His submissive 2 year old female foster sister Aussie plays chase with him but will drop any toy she has when Max comes near. He wasn’t nice the first time, so she just lets him have any toy. (The male Aussie in the house did not back down and this didn’t go well at all.) Due to his resource guarding, a home with small children would not be advised nor any dominant dog. Max is a sweet boy who just needs to find the right home. Someone to pet him on the couch, toss the ball for him once in while, take him out in the yard while you work or enjoy sitting and watching the day pass. Max is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, housebroken, crate trained, and on HW/flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Olmsted Township, OH. There is an additional $20 fee to transfer his microchip to his new owners. All adoption fees go to help rescue other dogs like Max. He is microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t neutered. Simon is nervous around strangers! He is good with children! No cats or dogs, due to his reactivity! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t get along with their other male dog. If you think you can provide a great home for Simon, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Simon. This is Kendall! I am looking to rehome her as soon as possible, and I would like to offer financial stipends for whoever could take her into their family! I’m hoping to find her a home where she can thrive. She has been having a hard time in my home ever since my other dog passed away, with my schedule that doesn’t allow me to spend much time with her and I feel like we’ve grown apart. However, I think in the right home she could be a sweet and happy and fun dog and I really want to see that for her! She does have some medical issues with her eye. She had to have one of them removed in 2023, and needs to receive daily eye drops in the remaining eye to help her keep her vision in that one as long as possible. I just had a full checkup done on her, and she doesn’t have any other issues now that they could find. As I said, I really want what’s best for her, so I would like to provide in advance payment to cover any medical expenses for her so that her future family doesn’t have to.
