Story
We got our Mickey at the Stark County Human Society. He has been in our lives for 5 years. He is great with young kids and great with other dogs. He is very smart and a very good dog. He is house trained. The past year he has had medical issues that we can’t afford anymore. He has a red rash under his belly and picks at himself. The vets say he is allergic to something in our home. We haven’t changed anything about our home so we are unsure what it is but we are out of options. We feel he is suffering being in our home. We have taken him out of our house for a couple days before and it clears up. We are praying he finds the comfort and help that he needs from another loving family.

Story
Sokka is three years old and an absolute sweetheart. We did not spay her, thinking of the outside possibility of breeding. She is not aggressive and rarely barks. She is smart, loyal, pretty, has a beautiful profile, is very athletic and graceful. She listens to basic commands, "place", "wait", "heel". She has so much energy and needs someone who can spend more time with her and exercise her more. We will miss her forever but she deserves better than what we can give. She has had a bad experience with an aggressive neighbor dog and so she would need to be monitored while introducing her to any new dogs. She has not been around small children. She has lived with house cats and is continuously watching them and being scolded to leave them alone. When outside, she wants to bolt after every rabbit and squirrel she sees.

5/12/2024 Update: Coops continues his brave battle with cancer. Only one person has cared enough to send him food and badly needed supplements. But that is the new world we now live in, no one cares and sick rescue dogs are at the bottom of the list. SPONSORS ARE NEEDED TO HELP GIVE COOPER LONGER TO LIVE WITH A QUALITY OF LIFE. COOPER IS FIGHTING CANCER AND NEEDS YOUR HELP. Cooper has presented with Oral Melanoma, July 2023. He has a large tumor growing in his jawline. This affects his ability to eat. He needs soft food and supplements that you can sponsor for him. He also needs surgery for tumor removal and partial jaw removal. Radiation treatments and supportive natural medicines and treatments. To be a life-saving sponsor for Cooper, email: IndianSummersRezQ@gmail.com for a list of help needed. There is no gift too small everything helps and if you are unable or not wanting to support Cooper with monetary or needed supply contributions then could you please offer up a prayer for this wonderful dog. Prayer and caring is a Great Healer. I know, first hand, I have been fighting my own cancer for many years. 4th Stage Terminal and I'm still here, still trying to help others like Cooper. My prayers are for every body fighting cancer, let us pray for one another in hopes that are prayers will be answered. Blessings and Thanks, Hope Summers ISBCRezQers
