Details

Story
This beautiful girl right here is Copper. Copper is a five year old pup with her puppy energy intact! Copper is very sweet, loyal, loves her food and her humans. Coppers current environment is not the right fit however as she is often left to her own devices. Copper needs to be in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and no other pets as she is pretty protective of her territory. A fence is not required but an active household is. She is likely do better in a home with teenage children as her version of run and jump likely won't mesh with younger kids. Copper is truly a sweetheart and loved by everyone she meets. Give her your time, mental and physical exercise and scrumptious food and she will give you kisses, cuddles and all the attention you could ever want!

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Rose is pure American English coonhound. She excels at learning and has a real drive to be a working/hunting dog. She has already treed a handful of critters on her own. Her hunting drive and youthful spirit will have her barking at cats but that can be trained out. Still has the occasional accident but is mostly housebroken. Only six months old, So still teething, but a very good girl. Plays a little rough with other dogs and children. I recommend a family with older children only. Champion bloodline but I don’t have any papers. Still, she’s beautiful and will thrive in an appropriate home. I truly wish it were my home. Up to date on all vaccines. Can get a copy of vaccination record upon request. Not spayed.

Stoutsville, OH
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ziggy is a sweet loving dog. She is timid so it takes a few visits for her to warm up to people. Once the relationship is built she will always want to be around people. She is good with cats around the house. I believe she would be great in a home with mostly adults as she shy's away from kids which is why we need to rehome her.

Miniature Bull Terrier

Millersport, OH
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jokers human Dad passed away and he misses him terribly. Joker is a loyal companion and is looking for his new forever home where he can get all the attention that he loves and deserves. He is a cuddler and likes to be right next to you all of the time. He is crate trained. He is put in his crate when his brother eats as he can at times become food aggressive. Joker does fine in the house when he is left alone. He does not need to be crated when left home alone. Usually he will go in his crate on his own to sleep. He loves when you take him on car rides as long as its not to the Vet. He loves walks and loves when you play fetch with him. Joker does fine walking on a leash but he becomes reactive and barks when he sees other dogs or people. He needs some work on learning how to not jump up on new people he meets. He has not been around cats or children so how he would react to them is unknown. Joker would do best in a home with no other pets as he likes to be the center of attention.

Bernedoodle

Female, Young
Pickerington, OH
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Izzy is a 3 year old (guess) miniature Bernedoodle and weighs around 33 pounds. She was rescued from a puppy mill by the Fairfield Humane Society that we have had for about 6 months. She is good around other pets and kids and has never shown any aggression whatsoever. She keeps to herself at the dog park and never fights. Izzy loves to follow you and be your shadow. She grew up in a puppy mill so she can be quirky and needs training, but she is lovable and sweet. She is very food motivated. We are about 75% potty trained, she just but doesn’t have a sign that she needs to go out yet. Izzy has night time seizures since a reaction from heartworm meds. We give one dose of medicine before bed and she has been seizure free since and may be able to wean off them eventually. Izzy will make a good companion for someone with time and experience training dogs if you give her a chance.
