Check out this handsome guy! Courage is currently our biggest resident, and is a big gentle giant! When Courage came to us he initially was pretty nervous, but since gaining his trust he has really opened up. Courage can still be a little shy meeting strangers, but he has made a lot of progress and warms up quickly especially where yummy treats are involved! Courage is a superstar that comes preloaded with lots of cool skills. He is potty trained, and knows "sit", "sit pretty", "down", and "shake"! Courage has done okay with some dogs, though he is a nervous guy and can be dog selective, so if you have other animals in your home we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Courage home. Thankfully Canoe is a resilient and forgiving guy, and he is not holding his unfortunate circumstance against humans! This guy is all wiggles and love, and he is ready to share his silly antics with the world. Canoe is very food motivated and has already mastered some basic skills like "sit"! Meet Piglet! This little lady is all spunk and spice, and is looking for a family that can appreciate her quirky personality. Piglet is all go go go, all gas and no breaks. She is a bouncy, active girl that will need a family to provide an outlet to for her energy. Piglet is pretty fearful of larger dogs, and can come on strong with dogs her own size, so she may do best with dogs her own size that will tolerate her energetic puppy behavior. Piglet seems to do okay with cats, but may chase when they run. Piglet is still a young girl and will need help learning things like potty training and leash manners. Frankincense, or Frank, is currently in foster care. He is a gentle senior soul that gets along with all dogs, loves to snuggle, and prefers your pillow over any dog bed. He is sensitive around his neck and a little head shy but never aggressive. He uses steps to get on and off the bed and the couch because of a narrowing in his spine that limits his mobility and causes him pain at certain angles. He tolerates crating but much prefers to be loose when you are gone. We are considering this guy a medical special needs case, so if you're interested in potential adoption, please reach out to us so we can discuss his needs. Ayden has started to show us more and more of his true colors as he has gained confidence with us; he is a playful, energetic, silly boy! Ayden is still nervous with strangers, and is in need of a family that will take it slow and give him time to warm up. He will need help catching up on the socialization and training he has missed out on so far, but he is a fast learner and will happily work for some yummy treats!
