It breaks our hearts to write this, but we are looking to find the perfect home for our beloved dog, Oreo. He is a 2-year-old lab terrier mix who we adopted from a shelter a few months ago. From the moment we brought him home, we knew he was special – a truly gentle and loving soul. Oreo is the sweetest boy who adores the people he trusts. He gets along well with our cat and has never shown any signs of aggression, even when he’s afraid. However, Oreo struggles deeply with anxiety. He’s afraid of just about everything – loud noises, sudden movements, and even the car. Most of his time is spent hiding under the bed or in other safe spaces where he feels secure. We adore Oreo, and it’s clear that he has so much love to give, but it’s equally clear that we are not the right family to meet his needs. Story

We have no idea how we still have this cute little fella, but he turned 1 in rescue. Jojo was a stowaway into our rescue as he was born 13 days after we pulled his mother from a West Virginia shelter. He was the final of the 3 puppies but certainly hit the ground running. He is a very nice size, weighing in at a stocky 33 pounds. He loves to play outside, especially with the other dogs where he is in foster and is also fine to just lay on the sofa and chew a femur bone, Kong or Nylabone. We do know his entire history and he has never suffered abuse or neglect and is a very well-rounded pup. He has been handled by many people since minute 1, received lots of enrichment toys from his mother's puppy-baby shower and has continued to have both mental and physical stimulation to make him very agreeable to most situations. He will walk on a leash but could definitely use more practice and would also bond well with a new family through completion of a basic obedience class with his new family. His brother and sister were both top of their class in the respective courses they completed. He loves to play, but does like to pounce so we would not recommend him as a playmate to a Toy breed dog or a cat. He isn't aggressive at all, just doesn't understand his body size and strength. Looking at him you may think he is a little non-descript black dog, but when you meet him you will find out he is so much more. He is loving, devoted and completely loyal to those that love him. His wishlist contains Iams Adult Mini Chunks dry and canned food, Fortiflora Calm, a cooling elevated canopy bed, and a Kong chew toy. Hello! I’m Grant. My favorite things are jumping and bouncy balls. But no restraint for me, Thanks. If I were a dessert, I’d be a slice of apple pie with a scoop of ice cream. My perfect day is hanging outside and soaking up the sun. If you like running and playing catch, We’d be a great team!

Nikita would do best in a home without cats and a very active human. She loves to always pack around a toy in her mouth and will chase her tail for days. Nikita's Wishlist consists of Purina HA Salmon, Fortiflora Calm, Kong dog toys, and an orthopedic dog bed. Meet Nikita! Her favorite thing to do is chase her tail, but she is not as into cat friends. She needs more exercise than a bodybuilder. The most important thing to know about Nikita is that she must always carry something in her mouth.

He would love a house with active young adults or teenagers. Roscoe is working on basic commands and is crate-trained. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He loves to give kisses, work food puzzles, and play fetch. Meet Rosco! His favorite thing is his turkey leg stuff toy. He needs lots of exercise. If he were a dessert, He'd be a s'more. Rosco's perfect day would be to run in the morning, lay in the grass, and chew on his favorite toy.
