Story
Star needs a good home. She was abandoned and I didn’t have the heart to send her to pound. I had a couple of people interested in her but they were very sketchy. I’ve placed her on web sites people wanted me to drive hrs away. She is very easily trained and fast learner. She is house trained , she knows sit leave it , house, back, I just can’t afford her. She needs more than I can give her shots etc. she was spayed at human society. She’s approximately 6 months old. I was hoping to have found her a good home besides puppy jail at pound. She love to play with balls frezibies an trampoline’s. I am willing to apply the 150 adoption fee to your vet of choice to ensure a good home.

Story
We have had Moose since he was a puppy. Our original intentions were for livestock guardian purposes, but that didn't happen he has been a household pet from the beginning. My husband and youngest child do not like Moose, and unfortunately he has become a source of contention in our family dynamic. He has recently been showing signs of aggression toward our cats. We have decided it would be best for him and our family to rehome him to a more appropriate environment where he can be himself and be happy, loved by all members of the household. Moose is 2.5 years old (born 6/18/2022), purebred Great Pyrenees, neutered, up to date on all vaccines and parasite medications (treated monthly with simparica trio), microchipped, and weighs 96lbs. He is goofy and playful, but a bit anxious at times, and suspicious of strangers/new things as pyrs are known for. Good with kids and dogs but NOT chickens or cats. NEEDS SECURE FENCING (not invisible).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Quinn’s adoption donation is $475 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio.  She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention.  She has also had a dental cleaning. Meet Quinn – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! With her soulful eyes and heart full of love, Quinn is a typical shih tzu who’s ready to find her forever person. This little sweetheart is a total cuddlebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side—whether you're watching TV, going for a walk, or sneaking her a bite of your snack (yes, she's always down to share your meal!). Quinn lives for love and affection. She’s happiest being held, doted on, and included in everything you do. She's playful in a gentle, quirky way—she adores toys (especially tearing them apart!) and will adorably stand on her back legs to paw at you when she wants attention. Trust us, it’s impossible to resist. She’s low energy, content to snooze the day away between short walks and cuddle sessions. While she’s not super into other dogs, she coexists peacefully with them and is also good with cats. Older, calm kids would likely be a good match too. That said, Quinn’s journey hasn’t been easy—she’s a puppy mill survivor, so she’s still learning to trust. Strangers make her nervous at first, and she’s not a fan of crates. But with patience, love, and a gentle hand, she blossoms into a loyal, loving companion who will follow you anywhere. Her ideal home? Quiet, calm, and filled with love. She’d do best with someone who’s home often, enjoys daily walks, and can help her continue to build confidence. She has dry eye and will need daily eye drops (she’s a bit squirmy about it—but we’re working on it!). Potty training is a work in progress; she uses puppy pads but sometimes has accidents if left unsupervised. A patient adopter who can support her routine will help her thrive. Quinn may have had a rough start, but she has so much love to give. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and devoted little shadow who just wants to be loved—Quinn is your girl.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable so, in many cases, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Our Adoption Process The adoption process has several steps involved. Please review prior to submitting an application. Our adoption process is detailed here:  http://www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/info/adoption Our volunteers work very diligently to process each application and we try to ensure that we are making the best match possible for each dog.  We do not schedule meetings with dogs until an application has been approved.  It can take up to a few weeks to process an application or as little time as a few days, from the time you submit an application, please be prepared to adopt as we cannot hold dogs. Special Requirements Some dogs may have special requirements (for example, medications, a fence) -- if you apply for a dog, please be sure to read over the biography completely to see if there are any special needs and if you're home would be suitable.  If we indicate on the dog's biography that a fence is required, this means your home must have a physical fence.  Other dogs may require a "strong vet reference" which indicates that we are looking for a home that has a documented history of veterinary care with previous pets.  The first step in our process is to submit an online adoption application at www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/forms.  The application MUST include the personal references and veterinary, grooming, and landlord references (if applicable) and their respective contact information.  If you do not include the references and the contact information, your application will be delayed as it CANNOT be processed.  Once the references have been successfully completed, a home visit is then scheduled when a rescue representative can meet all members of the family or residents of the home.  No application is approved prior to the home visit being done.   At that point, the Directors will discuss any and all applications on a foster dog and make a selection--in many cases, there are multiple applications for each dog, so please be understanding that our only priority is the successful placement of each of our foster dogs. Out of State Adoptions We do adopt out of state to outstanding applicants, however, our process requires a home visit, so out of state adoptions can take longer.  We do not ship our dogs, adopters should be prepared to pick up the dog in Central Ohio.  April 2, 2025, 10:06 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Freddie’s adoption donation is $350 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning. Freddie came into rescue through no fault of his own when his owner unexpectedly had to surrender him. Freddie is a super easy going dog who loves his people! He is friendly, loves toys and is overall a good boy. He really likes his walks and exploring in the yard.   Freddie does not need a fenced in yard but does need a companion dog. Freddie can't wait to find his forever home, will you be it?  Freddie does get anxiety when riding in a car or being left alone at home without other dogs or  people.  He is fine as long as others are around though.   Freddie's potty habits are very good.  He let's you know when he has to go out.  He is a very sweet dog and is friendly to all.  He likes people and dogs alike, although I am not sure about cats.  He loves his little blue hoodie, and he looks adorable in it.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog.
