Story
My teenage kids picked this lovable boy up when he ran across the road. He climbed right in the car very sweet boy. Is fixed sicsa could not locate his owner appears as though he was feed well but not an inside dog. Whoever had him did not care for him like a dog needs. He's been dewormed and washed thoroughly as he was covered in fleas. Hes missing some hair we have been putting moisturizer on to help regrow his hair. Super chill boy mostly gets along with our pit she loves the bigger dog to play with. He loves to chill and snuggles with my teen. He needs a good home where he wont be left outside.

Story
Meet Bella! She is an extra sweet 8 year old Pittie Mix. This girl was being rehomed with another dog in our foster. The previous rescue backed out and the morning she was to enter. There was no way we were leaving this sweet girl with nowhere to go. This is the sweetest girl. She will be greatly missed. Bella is up-to-date on all her vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and on prevention. Bella loves her foster brothers and sisters. She loves laying out on the patio on squirrel patrol. She enjoys toys and treats. Bella thinks she is a lap dog. She loves to snuggle and be around her humans. She will lay on the couch or in her big plushy dog bed near you. She is a very loyal companion. Bella is medium to low energy. She is a quiet girl, and rarely barks. She loves to go on car rides. She is housebroken. She doesn’t like a crate, thankfully she doesn’t need one. She loves her big plush cushy bed in the family room. This super sweet girl will definitely be missed. She loves everyone who visits and is kind to all the dogs. She is deserving of finding a home with people who will always love and care for her. If you think this sweet girl is for you, please fill out an application. She is being fostered in Beavercreek, Ohio. Gets along with other dogs? Yes Gets along with cats? Story
Hi, my name is Sinbad. I’m a very sweet boy who is in rescue with my brother Jaxon. Although my foster mom doesn’t think it is absolutely necessary, it would be nice if we could be adopted together. Both of my owners passed away recently, so I’m looking for a new family to love. I’m 13 years old and really healthy for my age. I weigh 21 lbs. (so am kind of a bruiser), have had all those pokey things called shots, I just had my teeth cleaned (I have 8 teeth left!!), am neutered and microchipped, and I do great at the vets and the groomer. Everyone talked about what a good boy I am. I’m crate trained (but don’t really like my crate if I don’t have to be in it), like to talk to you (a lot), and am good with the other kids in my foster home. I absolutely LOVE to run, so if I could have a fenced in yard, that would make me so very happy. I don’t know about cats or other critters, but my foster mom thinks I’d probably chase them. I’m pretty quick for an old guy. She makes me stay on a leash when I’m outside, since I’d make a break for it otherwise. My leash manners are a little iffy, but I’m working on them. I love to be with you and would be your best snuggle bunny if I came to live with you! I’m being fostered in Michigan and can’t wait to meet you! Gets along with other dogs? Yes Gets along with cats? Story
I am an amazing little boy looking for my special forever home. My name is Teddy, and they say I am about 1 years old. I was brought into rescue because I was on a busy street and a good person saw me and scooped me up so I didn’t get hurt. I had no idea where I was, and I was so scared. When I arrived at my foster home, they took me to the doctors to get a check up and found out I am a special boy. They had taken me to a specialist to ensure I would be ok. It was found that I have something called a neurological disorder. The doctor said I was probably born this way, but I don’t know any different. I just know that I love everyone! Because of this issue I can not see very well but I am a very smart boy and learn my surroundings. I have even learned to go up the stairs (outside on their deck) during the day at my fosters house. Nighttime I have a harder time, so my foster mom helps me. I haven’t mastered going down because I get quite scared I will fall. I am good boy and go potty outside as long as you keep me on schedule I can follow. I do wish to have a friend to play with. I love to play with my foster sisters and brothers. I would prefer a smaller friend to play with as big friends scare me. Don’t let my age fool you though. I love to snuggle with my foster mom and dad. Whenever they are sitting and relaxing, I prefer to be doing that with them. Do you have a special place for me to continue to learn? If so, please fill out an application and my foster mom will be in contact with you. Gets along with other dogs? Yes, with smaller dogs Gets along with cats? Yes Gets along with other pets? Story
Meet Puddles! A happy, energetic, one year old Parti Schnauzer mix, with maybe a splash of Maltese. Puddles was surrendered by her rescuer who found her alone on the streets. Not being able to find her original owner, she reached out to SRC for help. Now fully vetted she is ready to find a family with no children, to do life with. Her absolute favorites are cuddles, couch hangs were she can get a lot of pets, and playing. Puddles loves her toys and loves playing fetch. She also loves Laying in her yard and running as fast as she can around it, so for this reason her foster mom says a fenced yard is what she would enjoy most. Puddles is a girl who knows what she wants. She loves her things and her person all to herself, so would do best being the only dog. This cute girl coexists well with other dogs, but has taught the others, her things are hers! She would do best in a home with no other dogs, and no children or children visiting. This cutie is the total package! Utd on vaccines, spayed, housebroken, chipped, & crate trained. If she sounds like the perfect fit for your family grab that application and get approved to meet her. Story
Updated 8-3-2024 $400 adoption fee is for both pups! Meet the dynamic duo of Henry and Helen! These sweet pups are puppy mill survivors. They were found alone in an abandoned house, and we’d like them to stay together. Henry is approx. 7-8 years old, 12 lbs. schnauzer/terrier mix (maybe some Beagle?). He LOVES his person and constantly will follow you around the house. His favorite activities include snuggling, napping, and hanging outside. He is house trained, does OK on a leash, and rarely makes a noise. You may hear him whine a little bit if he doesn’t know where you are. While out of the house, he is either left out or in the office with the door closed. He is trusted and doesn’t use a crate. He can do stairs and jump off/on the bed and couch.
