Brooklyn is approximately 4 yrs old. She can be shy with new people at first but if given time she warms up and enjoys attention. We are unaware of how she is with kids and cats. She should meet any new dog before adoption is approved and a decision is made. She does have accidents in her kennel so she may need housetrained. She does know some commands and will work for food. Boone is a 54 lbs Boxer mix. He is friendly and seems to be ok with other dogs....he loves to play. He will need to meet any new housemate prior to adoption being approved. Boone is around 1 yr old. We do not know how he is with cats or children. He keeps his kennel area clean for the most part but will have accidents on occasion. If you are interested in Boone please stop at the shelter to meet him and complete an application. Bo will need a home that is super patient and willing to give him time to decompress. You will also have to come to the shelter more than once to visit with him. He is fine with our staff but takes time to warm up to ALL new people. He reacts ok to some dogs but MUST meet and new housemates. He was in a home prior to coming here, for a short time, and they said he would growl at their children from time to time (which is why they brought him to us). So we suggest NO children. Flash is a 1 yr old Pitbull/Boxer mix. He is fearful and concerned over new people so patience is necessary with him. We suspect this may be a reaction to being abandoned. He was removed from a property after being left alone for several days. He is playful and loves snacks. He will walk ok on leash but does pull some. Flash is young and will need some basic obedience but he does already know some commands. As part of the adoption process we require all dogs to meet your current dogs before adoption is approved. Anyone interested should stop in to meet him and complete an application if interested. Miss Naomi. Siberian Husky. Possibly a hybrid. She has piercing hazel-blue eyes and unique facial features/markings. She is spunky and fun. Naomi has a neat personality, knows some commands, Loves snacks and belly rubs. When she connects with you she connects. She has been nothing but gentle and sweet with us at the shelter. Gets super excited when she sees us but can be leery of strangers. She has met other dogs and did well. She also met a cat at the vet and was non reactive (but she was very afraid and stressed at the vet so this may have caused her to be disconnected).Naomi is underweight. We are working on that at the shelter. She was found on 7/3/2023 with No collar, No ID, No Microchip in Westfield Township.Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt.
