Story
She is very smart and youthful but due to our 3 year olds allergy needs we need to find a new home. (sudden full body hives rashes leading to a full house detox per dr orders, not food related) She is normally an inside dog and loves her cuddles and is trained to go to the door when she needs to pee. She is not very barky but likes to "talk" to us at times. She loves squeaky toys, but her favorite is a baby pacifier. While she will shred a stuffed animal, she will sleep with her pacy and keep it safe. She is leash trained and knows a few verbal and "sign"commands, but she is not always a polite house guest, sneaking a slice of pizza from the counter. She is hyper but has been gentle with our kids. The youngest hasn't been fully dog trained, but she doesn't mind if he pulls her paw or leans on her too much. She loves her walks and she loves to sit on her chair and chill. She believes she is a small lap dog and will beg for me to carry her, literally jumping in my arms.

Story
4 year old pitbull terrier. Very cute. He loves people but; he's nervous around strangers. He gets startled easily, and he hates being alone. He has been crate trained but prefers to be with people and his bed. He likes to eat cloth material, so he only plays with hard material toys like rubber rings or bones. He broke his shoulder once so he takes glucosamine for joint mobility. He gets lonely easily and gets along with cats really well. He would really enjoy a nice yard to run around in.

Story
Apply at www.doggiedetour.org Angel was surrendered by her owner to a local shelter. He says she was a Shihtzu /Chihuahua, 15 yrs old and had never been to a vet. That said she looks like a Chihuahua/ Yorkie is 7 1/2 lbs and can jump on the bed like a gymnist. I find it hard to believe she is that old. I would have guessed maybe 8- 10. Angel seems to have been pee pad trained. She is a little to shy at first but then will follow you around. She is now up to date, spayed, and has had a dental. We are looking for someone to spoil her rotten

Story
Artie was given up by his previous owner who was no longer able to look after him, with the hope that he would find a loving new home. He's an energetic and playful dog who loves being around people. He's often spotted jumping around his kennel, looking for some attention. He takes pleasure in his walks with the volunteers and values the personal interaction. Once he's burned off some energy, he's happy to snuggle up and enjoy some cuddles. Sometimes he may seem a little shy, but after a short period of quiet time to recharge, he returns to his delightfully silly antics. This loving pup is patiently waiting for a place to call his own.
