Dixie Mar is a sweet and loving girl but she is just too high energy for my growing family. I have two very small kids and the shelter told us that she was house trained before we adopted her, but she is not. I have tried taking her to classes but with my work schedule and my husband’s we were unable to make the classes. She really needs a family who can give her a place to run and burn off the energy and has the time to properly train her.

Hey there, I would like to introduce myself. I am called Fig. I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter to keep me safe. There isn’t anything on the outside of me that screams “hey’ look at me”! What I have is on the inside, I have a heart of gold! I walk nicely on leash, take treats fantastically from hand, enjoy playing in the yard and occasionally swoop in for hugs. What I’d really, really want is my own human! Someone who I can go get ice cream or share the couch and snuggle ( the evenings are getting cool) with as we watch tv.
