Story

Katie is currently looking for a forever home for her golden years. Katie's owner passed and had nowhere to go. She is currently in a foster home, learning to live, love and trust again. She has done amazing in her foster home. Katie needs structure in her life as she sometimes can have accidents in the home if you don't catch her "outside" cue's. She loves to play! She's not much of a toy play dog but would rather play with her people and get loving! Katie sleeps through the night and does not have any existing medical needs. She would do best as an only dog but seems to do better with smaller, respectable dogs. She has not been cat tested but judging on her reaction to small wildlife, we think cats would be a no. Older kids would suit her best as well. She walks great on a leash and doesn't need a crate when left alone (as long as you don't leave food out as she will try to counter surf to the best of her abilities and usually succeeds!) Katie's hearing is not the best but her vision is still good! She may do well in an apartment but would definitely need to be a first floor apartment ONLY.November 4, 2024, 7:46 pm

Boe is 5 years old and is a black lab mix. He was adopted in August of 2019 from the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Valley View Ohio when he was only 3 months old. Doctors estimated he was born around May 30, 2019. He was found roaming the streets of Garfield Heights, OH. He is a loving, playful, and highly energetic doggie! He is crate and potty trained. He was already neutered when we adopted him and he is microchipped. He is our only pet and has never been around cats. He has been around dogs because we sometimes board him at Barks & Recreation in Macedonia, OH when we go out of town. He seems to do pretty good there. He loves to play! Boe received his yearly vaccines on July 6, 2024.Boe loves car rides!November 19, 2024, 1:32 pm

She has not yet been tested with cats but we’re thinking she may be too much for them as well as young children because of her energy. She is crate trained and housebroken. After living his first months on earth as a stray and getting hit by a car, Huey aka Trapper was caught and is now in a foster home. He is a quiet and scared boy. He will come out of his shell once he knows you. He is still learning how to walk on a leash and learning how not to go to the bathroom in the house. He will be undergoing FHO surgery and a neuter in the near future and will be ready for his forever home! Right now he is scared and only plays with toys when nobody is around and will only eat if he’s alone. He does great in his crate too! If so, check out Emma and look no further! Emma is a young Cattle Dog mix (about 1 ½ - 2 years) and weighs about 22 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and loves people—a lot!. True to her breed, Emma loves to play and explore and would do well with someone who will spend lots of time with her and keep her well exercised. Emma came to us in the end of January as a stray from Cleveland. She was very pregnant and gave birth two weeks later to five beautiful puppies! Emma was a GREAT mom, but now it’s time for her to finally get to be the center of someone’s attention as she LOVES people and would gladly cuddle with you on the couch as much as should would go for a nice long walk!
