Story

Katie is currently looking for a forever home for her golden years. Katie's owner passed and had nowhere to go. She is currently in a foster home, learning to live, love and trust again. She has done amazing in her foster home. Katie needs structure in her life as she sometimes can have accidents in the home if you don't catch her "outside" cue's. She loves to play! She's not much of a toy play dog but would rather play with her people and get loving! Katie sleeps through the night and does not have any existing medical needs. She would do best as an only dog but seems to do better with smaller, respectable dogs. She has not been cat tested but judging on her reaction to small wildlife, we think cats would be a no. Older kids would suit her best as well. She walks great on a leash and doesn't need a crate when left alone (as long as you don't leave food out as she will try to counter surf to the best of her abilities and usually succeeds!) Katie's hearing is not the best but her vision is still good! She may do well in an apartment but would definitely need to be a first floor apartment ONLY.June 29, 2024, 10:05 am

Rufus is still a baby looking for his forever home. he loves to play with his foster sister and is curious about the cats and is great with all children. He is current and all of his vaccines and heartworm testing and is pending his neuter. He is very sweet and ACTIVE! We would love for them to find a home together but willing to separate if need be. Thor is a big boy who craves attention and cuddling. Thor is great with people but does not like smaller animals. Does great in a car and his crate but does get aggressive on walks when encountering other animals. True to her breed, Emma loves to play and explore and would do well with someone who will spend lots of time with her and keep her well exercised. Emma came to us in the end of January as a stray from Cleveland. She was very pregnant and gave birth two weeks later to five beautiful puppies! Emma was a GREAT mom, but now it’s time for her to finally get to be the center of someone’s attention as she LOVES people and would gladly cuddle with you on the couch as much as should would go for a nice long walk!
