Story
Diego is a 7 year old sweetheart looking to find a home better suited for his needs! My husband and I adopted Diego around 4 years ago when he was 3 years old. He had been dropped off at the Clermont County Animal Shelter and was being fostered in a home through Joseph’s Legacy. He has been a wonderful dog for us for the last 4 years and is so easy to love. We had a child in 2022 and Diego has tolerated him up until recently in the last 6 months. With our son being a wild toddler, we have recognized that Diego does not have the tolerance to be around small children as it makes him anxious and uncomfortable, and therefore sometimes nips or snaps quickly. Diego also has a rare kidney condition called Renal Tubular Acidosis which makes him have to pee frequently. He will definitely let you know when he needs to go outside to pee! He takes two medications that are approximately $50/month. Diego loves to lay on the couch and relax at your feet or watch out the window!

Story
We adopted this girl in early November from the local shelter. They really did not have any information about her other than she had just been returned by her previous adopters. The previous adopters were an elderly couple and they pad trained her, but she was too much for them. I have a male rescue from the same shelter and he loves everyone. They seemed to hit it off for the most part. Now however, she is displaying food aggression and toy aggression towards him, none towards humans. I have teenage boys and she loves to cuddle with them! She is a really sweet girl that needs to be in a home where she is the only pup. She is not aggressive toward cats, but she will follow and chase them if given the chance. She is crate trained and knows a few basic commands. Her shots are up to date and she is on Nexgard Plus for monthly heartworm and flea prevention. I want to see her go to a good home, so vet and personal references may be requested.

Story
Meet Timber Boy! Sweet Timber was abandoned at a local Metropark in the pouring rain! He is only about 6 months old and is approximately 35 lbs. We are guessing him to be a Corso mix. Timber has the sweetest personality and is a good mix of playful energy and sleepy, lazy, clumsy puppy! Timber loves all people including children and other dogs and even cats! He can be a lot of for small kids right now, as he is just learning his manners, like learning not to jump and learning not to nip and mouth He is very smart and eager to learn, and is very treat motivated! He is potty trained and crate trained! Timber is very playful, loves his toys and bones and loves playing outside! He is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and loves the interaction! Timber would need an active family or fenced in yard,. Because he is considered a large breed dog, he also needs a family committed to his training so he knows what is and is not acceptable puppy behavior. If you are ready to add this sweet puppy boy to your family, please click on the link below and fill out an application. https://www.coopersafeplace.org/application-page Timber’s adoption fee is $450.00 and due on the day of adoption.

Meet Lilac! Sweet Lilac loves everyone she meets! She is great with all people, including children, loves other dogs and cats. She is playful, but also very calm and this girl will steal your heart! She is 8 months old and is potty trained and crate trained! Lilac is such a sweet, affectionate lovey pup. She is a Black Mouth Cur mix who came to us with her sister, Marigold.. Lilac loves meeting new people and going on adventures! She is great in the car and on walks. Lilac is very playful and one of her favorite activities is hanging out with her puppy siblings!. She loves running and playing with her people, other dogs and even entertaining herself. Though Lilac is an active puppy, she still loves cuddling up on the couch and watching TV.
