Story

It is with a heavy heart that our family must ask if there is a cat-free, child-free home for our boy. Obi is a sweet, lovable 18 month old Pyrenees. Our family adores him, but our home seems to be stressing him out. We have 3 other animals and 3 kids and when things get particularly loud or overstimulating, he sometimes growls at my wife and kids. We’ve reached out to Great Pyrenees rescues but no one will take him because he growls. He’s never bitten or even attempted to bite any of us, but since we have young kids we can’t risk keeping him. Please help us find our boy a new home where he can get the attention and the calm environment he deserves.

A gorgeous blue velvet Staffordshire/ Boxer mix with a soft coat, Finnick has lots of love to share. He has lots of energy, loves rolling in the grass and playing fetch. Finnick enjoys hanging out with people outside during playtime. He would enjoy being the only in pet in the home with a fenced yard and would love to be your companion . With an estimated birth date of March 2, 2021 and weighing 58 pounds, Finnick has been vet checked, neutered, is up to date on vaccines, on flea & heartworm prevention. Currently he is on sensitive stomach food. We hope that once he is out of the stresses of the shelter, he might be able to return to regular dog food. We ask a donation of $145 cash to help with vet expenses and a dog license. Pets are seen by appointment. Archie, a Lab/English Mastiff mix, is looking for his forever home. Archie was surrendered to the shelter after his owner passed away. Sadly for Archie, he now has trust issues and can be slow to warm up to new people, but once he has your trust, he is a friendly and playful companion. Archie loves playing & treats. Because of his size & strength, Archie would do better in a home without young children. Archie requires a patient owner as he will need sufficient time to decompress in his new home. Obedience training is recommended to help establish a strong bond with his new owner. A physical fenced yard is also recommended for running and playing as well as preventing him from getting out. He has a birth date of December 23, 2020, has been vet checked, neutered, is up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention. As an adoption special, we ask an adoption fee of $125 cash which includes a dog license. Pets are seen by appointment. Wyatt is a friendly and playful 4-year-old who loves people, playing ball and treats. He is a very smart and loving boy who knows basic commands and is eager to please. While Wyatt is joyfully exuberant, he does calm easily. The one thing keeping our loveable Wyatt from finding his forever home is his strong prey drive. He is not fond of cats, dogs or other small creatures.. We believe that he would benefit greatly with proper training to curb that instinct. A physical fenced yard is highly recommended. Rita is a social butterfly. Curious and fun-loving, Rita loves people and most dogs. Felines are not her cup of tea. Rita spent 3 weeks in doggy day camp learning manners and basic commands and was considered to be a bright and curious student. She is house trained as well as crate trained. Playing catch and frolicking with friends are Rita's favorite activities. Rita is learning to share her toys and will continue to receive training to learn to share and be the best girl she can be. A physical fence is desired for her yard. Her happy demeanor and frisky personality will be a welcome addition to an active family. Rita is estimated to be 2 years old, weighs 53 pounds. Our Family is in an unfortunate situation where we must re-home our 8 year old Corgi, Roscoe by December. He is a sweet boy and needs a family with preferably no other dogs or kids under 5. Roscoe enjoys close companionship, relaxing around the house, and playing with his toys. He is up to date on all vaccines and in good overall health. He is somewhat anxious given his current situation and takes anxiety medication. I believe it may not be required in a new home. He recently experienced an ACL injury but has recovered well and is back to his old self and mobile up/down stairs, walking, playing, etc. Please reach out if you are interested and feel that Roscoe will be a good fit for your family. He'll make a wonderful companion for household, and we want the best situation for him ❤️
