Story
Hi, my name is Misty Blue and I am a spitfire, but in a good way. First, I am beautiful, but that can’t be all you love about me. I came into the rescue very pregnant and gave birth within 36 hours of arriving. I was a very protective, good momma, and learned to trust my foster mom slowly. Once my puppies were weaned and adopted, we set out to make me the best version of myself. I am an athlete through and through and would excel at agility, hiking with a backpack and anything and everything that involves a job. I can jump several feet into the air, climb most things and I balance like a champ. I am stubborn, and bonding and trust are very, very important to me. I need daily interaction, exercise and mental stimulation to be happy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sprinkler and will play in it, biting at the water for as long as you will let me. I also swim! And my favorite game may be parkour. I'll climb ladders, go down slides...anything physical I am totally game. Then, I'lll happily snuggle in for a nap. I spent two weeks at a board and train, where I began learning how to play appropriately with other dogs and meet some new people. I am good with people, and am good in public, so training can continue anywhere! An experienced owner is a must, as I am smarter than most dogs (and people) and need a firm but fun family. I chase all small creatures and will need a good fence to securely run my energy out. If you are looking for a workout buddy, someone to go on adventures with, then lay on the couch to watch a movie when all the excitement is done for the day, I may be your girl. ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained). ADOPTER: Breed/Working dog experience a must BIRTHDAY: 1/25/2020 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Dog tolerant in public, learning to have fun and play DOGS IN HOME: Male only, can go solo CATS: No KIDS: Yes, over 10 I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $175 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. Story
Hi, my name is Tom Bodett and I’ll leave the light on for ya…. In all seriousness, I, along with another dog, were abandoned at a local hotel and some awesome police officers got us to MVPC. I am a beautiful boy, and very devoted to my people. I love to play, and am quite active, but I am also a lover through and through. I love people and my only goal is to make you happy. While I get along with other dogs outside the home, inside the home, I get nervous around them, so I'd really like to be an only dog. I am working on this in professional training! I am very strong and will need a family that will continue my training and take me on adventures to get my energy out, but dog beds and jammies are also much appreciated! I have THE best facial expressions and will literally try anything with you and for you. I really am that sweet and devoted! I cannot, however, swim…I tried and it didn’t go well. I sank. It wasn’t pretty and kinda embarrassing - take a look at my pics, you'll see! But don’t worry, I’ll still happily travel with you…hotels with pools and all. I am currently on seizure medicine for a condition called “fly strike syndrome” where I would look like I was trying to catch a fly but there is nothing there. With the medicine, I no longer do this! It runs about $20 a month, but it definitely helps me be the best version of myself! ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience, must be able to continue medication BIRTHDAY: 3/26/21 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Solo, as I get nervous CATS: Yes CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! Story
Hi, my name is Natasha, and was found by a Good Samaritan who quickly realized I was pregnant. Luckily, MVPC was able to squeeze me in and I raised seven healthy puppies. Because I, along with my puppies, are unusual looking, MVPC had one DNA tested. The test also gives breeds of each parent, and I have mainly Staffie and American Eskimo! However, realize there are several breeds in there, including Golden Retriever! All of my kids are taller than me now, so if you are looking for a shorter version, I am it. I am a happy, fun girl who loves everyone I meet. I am learning how to play with other dogs, and while I love them, they don’t always love my play, so a tolerant, playful male dog is best! I know all of my commands, but can be subborn! I am scared of thunderstorms, but my foster family is working hard on helping me feel safer and calm during storms. Overall, I am a happy, sweet gal and am going to make an amazing companion! I promise to absolutely keep you laughing all day long. I am so much fun! ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 11/22/2020 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! Story
Hi! I am Gypsy Rose 🌹 and looking for a soul mate. I've done the dating scene but I am ready to find Mr. (or Ms.) Awesome so I can give someone everything I have for the rest of my life. I am a 5 year old, 67 pound, bully breed mix looking for love! I prefer athletic men, but I swing both ways, so both men and women may apply. I am a BIG kisser that enjoys affection, so if you don't like PDA, keep scrolling, honey! While I enjoy time to myself, I am a complete goofball that loves to play. I love going for walks, hikes, and even a run, especially with a buff fella that has skills like me. Maybe you could be my playmate? I love playing with other dogs but again, I am sturdy girl so bigger is better for this fit and active chick! As an added bonus, we can find time to snuggle afterwards, I love a good cuddle with a soft blanket and don't care at all about personal space.I am a bit of a neat freak. I like to keep myself clean and I will not be going on the floor. I prefer to do my business outdoors, thank you very much. My crate is a safe space for me. It is a great place for me to focus and find my center. Meditation is very important to me. So if you are serious about being in a committed relationship with a passionate and loving lady, let's meet up so we can see if we could be the match we have both been dreaming of! One night stands need not apply.Apply to adopt this fun loving gal today at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt! I am spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Gypsy is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, parasite-free, and ready to find her family! Her adoption fee is $100 during the month of December as part of our Home For The Holidays Campaign. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Hi, my name is Victoria and I am so glad to be done having puppies. This final round was no fun...there were 11. I'm done. I was also heartworm positive, so even after my puppies went to their foster homes, I still had 30 more days of treatment (meaning quiet time to heal-also no fun). I am ready to go. As in go home, go play, go run, go explore....just go. I want my svelt figure back! I am a very sweet girl and am learning how awesome it is to just be a dog. I am learning all the things...commands, leash walking...and am doing GREAT!! Naturally, I get pretty darn excited to come out of my crate, but once I get the zoomies out, I love to snuggle. The other dogs in the house are fun too and I am learning to play appropriately. Cats are really fun to chase and I get pretty excited when I see one, so any cats in the home need to be dog savvy. I've been smacked by one, but it didn't deter me much. I make myself look and sound even more adorable by "woo wooing" at you when I want your attention. So far, it has a 100% return rate of treats and affection and I am more than ready to conduct this research on my forever family. ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 1/11/21 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! Story
Fennec is a gorgeous bully bread who is all muscles, with mountain peak ears and hazy green eyes. You could spend all day counting his chocolate chip-like spots. Fennec is about 3 years old and weighs under 50lbs. He knows his basic manners such as sit, stay, lay down, and off. He is also a proper gentleman and keeps his kennel clean through the night. Fennec loves anything soft and warm! He will snuggle under any blanket with you. Just make sure he has his own Squishmellow! Don't let the snuggles fool you though! Fenn loves to romp around in the yard and play with his foster family. He loves to make friends but can get anxious to meet others. He will need proper introductions and time to get to know his new friends. Once time to adapt, Fennec gets along well with other dogs and cats! If Fennec seems like the right fit for you, please go to www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is 105 during our Home For The Holidays Campaign in the month of December. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
