Story

I acquired Braxton in college 9 years ago when he was just a puppy. He came from an abusive home. Braxton is a very loving dog, great with other dogs, and is very laid back. He does like to go on walks and be outside, but he also loves to snuggle. He is also great with people, even babies! Unfortunately with our work/travel and life schedules, we have been having to board him more times than we would like. Additionally, one of our children has extremely sensitive skin and we have found his hair to irritate her skin at times. He has been a loving companion for our family and we are looking to find him a home that can give him more love than we can offer at this time.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY !!! Australian Shepard . 6 years old birthday is may 20th. He is territorial with his food , he needs to go to a home with no other animals or smaller dogs preferably not sure how he does with bigger dogs . He needs a space with lots of room because he has lots of energy that he needs to release other wise he becomes snippy . I dont want to euthanize him so I’m trying to find a home that is suitable for him. Because the previous owners refuse to take him back . This is my last ditch effort before having to surrender him , due to his tendency of biting when he is caught off guard. I don’t know if there is someone out there that can really work with him to save him as opposed to putting him down. He has one previous owner for 6 years I adopted him roughly about a month and a half ago. This dog needs special attention .

COURTESY POST Nelson is a courtesy post. He is not a Paws and Prayers dog as we don't have room at this time. He is a male mountain cur dog, is 3 years old and very sweet. He is 70 pounds, brindle in color and very well behaved per the family. We have so many dogs in foster right now, and the family agreed to keep him until he finds a home so we are doing a courtesy post. They took him when a relative could no longer keep him. Nelson is neutered and up to date on his shots. The family is asking a $200 rehoming fee but will negotiate for a good home. Nelson can be protective but as long as you are consistent, he minds well and is very trainable per the family. If interested, please contact through email at jfmclain87@gmail.com . She enjoys car rides, walks, and even a McDonald's hamburger! Gemma really enjoys spending time with her human friends, so whatever you want to do, she is happy to do with you! Gemma is crate trained, but at her mature age, does not require to be crated. She is happy with any cushy place to rest. Gemma would do best as an only pet. She doesn't mind seeing other dogs around, her preference is to be your one and only. All Paws and Prayers animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fees also include the pet's spay/neuter and microchipping. Meet Mr. Boomer, Boomer is a big boy weighing in at almost 90 pounds. He has been at his foster’s home only a few weeks and has already lost a little weight by doing the stairs. This GENTLE-man is 11 yrs. young. He loves car rides and is just all around comfort and love, he always enjoys meeting new people and dogs. He has not met cats since we got him only because there are no cats at his foster’s home. He is potty trained, and does not mind staying in a room alone when his foster is at work. Due to his mature age he does not need to be crated. This guy has had only one owner since he was a pup. Due to unfortunate life circumstances Boomer is in search of another loving furever home.
