Story

Meet Stella! This sweet girl was found wandering around an apartment complex in Lewisville almost 2 months ago. She was found with nothing but a purple collar. We posted her on multiple platforms to find her owners but didn’t end up finding them. Me and my family have been fostering her since. She is now up to date on rabies, bordetella, and the distemper/parvo vaccines. She was a bit underweight when she came to us but we think it was from the lack of food from running around on her own. Other than that she is in great health. The vet thinks she is around one year old. She was already house broken and is now crate trained. She has been good with our other dogs and cats but we think she would thrive the most in a home where it’s just her. She is great with small children and likes to meet new people. She LOVES attention and will just crawl right up into your lap. She is the best snuggeler and bath time is her favorite! Please someone adopt this sweet baby!!

Honey is a year and a half old yellow lab mix. She is around 50lbs and is full grown. Her ears are almost like a sharpei type breed ears along with her curly half tail. Her golden eyes will mesmerize you. Honey was found as an abandoned stray with another puppy. She is housebroken, walks great on a leash, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She loves everyone she meets. Honey knows how to sit and catch a treat. She is looking for a loving home to dote on her unique features and tell her how beautiful she is. Honey is learning how to explore her world around her and has taken an interest in sneaking to play with her toys when her foster family is not looking. Honey will sleep with her person all through the night and enjoys naps by the window. WE MUST TALK ABOUT BRUNO! Bruno is a large lab/hound mixed breed around 75 lbs. He is 3 years old. Bruno was surrendered to a local shelter from a sad situation, but he is ready to put the past behind him and find his forever home. Poor Bruno was the only dog but lived with several cats and came from a hoarding case. He is housebroken, gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to explore his new surroundings and thinks everything is his toy. He is doing well leash training and loves to be outside walking or playing. Bruno is a strong guy. He needs a fenced in yard or someone who can handle his strength. He needs a family to allow him to continue training and exercises him regularly. Due to Bruno's past, you would think he would have some trust issues with humans, but he loves everyone he meets instead. He wants to show you how much he loves you by tackling you sometimes without meaning to. He's a big goofball and doesn't know his size. In Bruno's heart, soul, and mind, he identifies as a Shitzu. He has since recovered from his injuries and is making up for lost time. He has tons of puppy energy but is a loving cuddle bug when he's not running around. His foster family says that Paul is crate and house trained but pulls like a tugboat on the leash. He will need to go to a home who have the time and patience to teach him leash manners. They also say Paul is smart, trainable and seems to have a strong desire to please his people. He would do best in a home with dogs his size and older children. Buzz is the sweetest boy who is searching for a home that will be a better fit! We adopted Buzz almost 1 year ago. He was rescued from a hoarding situation where he learned some not-so-great habits. We worked hard to retrain him and he learned so much in a short amount of time! Unfortunately, the one challenge we couldn't overcome is his separation anxiety. We have tried several different remedies and have worked with our veterinarian in hopes that we would be able to keep him. Sadly, we are out of options and our work schedule is not conducive to a happy environment for him. Buzz would be the absolute perfect pup for someone who is either retired, works from home, or works shorter days and does not travel often. If you are looking for a companion that will be right by your side, Buzz is your guy! He lives with a Bully breed, 2 cats and children. He can be stand off-ish to strangers but his meds have helped him warm up to people more quickly.
