Her golden eyes will mesmerize you. Honey was found as an abandoned stray with another puppy. She is housebroken, walks great on a leash, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She loves everyone she meets. Honey knows how to sit and catch a treat. She is looking for a loving home to dote on her unique features and tell her how beautiful she is. Honey is learning how to explore her world around her and has taken an interest in sneaking to play with her toys when her foster family is not looking. Bruno was surrendered to a local shelter from a sad situation, but he is ready to put the past behind him and find his forever home. Poor Bruno was the only dog but lived with several cats and came from a hoarding case. He is housebroken, gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to explore his new surroundings and thinks everything is his toy. He is doing well leash training and loves to be outside walking or playing. Bruno is a strong guy. He needs a fenced in yard or someone who can handle his strength. He needs a family to allow him to continue training and exercises him regularly. Due to Bruno's past, you would think he would have some trust issues with humans, but he loves everyone he meets instead. He wants to show you how much he loves you by tackling you sometimes without meaning to. He's a big goofball and doesn't know his size. In Bruno's heart, soul, and mind, he identifies as a Shitzu. He has since recovered from his injuries and is making up for lost time. He has tons of puppy energy but is a loving cuddle bug when he's not running around. His foster family says that Paul is crate and house trained but pulls like a tugboat on the leash. He will need to go to a home who have the time and patience to teach him leash manners. They also say Paul is smart, trainable and seems to have a strong desire to please his people. He would do best in a home with dogs his size and older children. Meet Maila! She was found as a stray. She was microchipped, but the owner's information is no longer current and no one claimed her. Maila is up to date on vaccines, negative for heartworm disease and she is already spayed. She is a 30 lbs mixed breed (maybe some Italian Greyhound) She's the sweetest girl ever. She loves belly rubs! She knows no boundaries (but is learning personal space) and LOVES being in your lap & giving kisses. She does amazing in her kennel & is completely potty trained. She did not know how to walk on a leash when I first got her but she's learned very quickly & is doing so well! She is energetic in all the best ways but loves to sleep while you hold her. She does amazing getting baths. She clings close to your side in scary situations. Maila now knows come, down, lay, & is learned to sit on command. She's great with other dogs & cats and seems very interested in children from afar. She will be the perfect companion for a loving family! Buzz is the sweetest boy who is searching for a home that will be a better fit! We adopted Buzz almost 1 year ago. He was rescued from a hoarding situation where he learned some not-so-great habits. We worked hard to retrain him and he learned so much in a short amount of time! Unfortunately, the one challenge we couldn't overcome is his separation anxiety. We have tried several different remedies and have worked with our veterinarian in hopes that we would be able to keep him. Sadly, we are out of options and our work schedule is not conducive to a happy environment for him. Buzz would be the absolute perfect pup for someone who is either retired, works from home, or works shorter days and does not travel often. If you are looking for a companion that will be right by your side, Buzz is your guy! He lives with a Bully breed, 2 cats and children. He can be stand off-ish to strangers but his meds have helped him warm up to people more quickly.

Being treated for heartworms by rescueI am the goodest boy. I love all people. I love other dogs and cats. I walk good on a leash but I am pretty strong. I’m a hound dog with my nose to the ground but not a hunter. My last people didn’t care about me. They made me hungry all the time and they let me get heartworms. My rescue people love me. They are getting me treated for the heartworms and my belly is never empty. I don’t have to be outside in the heat, rain and cold. My angels were sent for me.
