Story
Capone has been to the vet and he is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention. Capone was never socialized with the world around him or any other dogs but Dolly. He didn't show aggression when he met a stranger dog, just fear. He cannot live with small animals. Capone met Sprinkles yesterday!!! We have taken decompression very slowly with Capone because he had so much loss and change so quickly. Yesterday Capone got to meet one of the resident hound girls and they did perfect! This amazing boy deserves a family of his own, even a foster home (he is in a temporary foster home)! Capone is a chill dog whose favorite thing is human lovin, peanut butter kongs & the hot pink Kong wooba! If interested in meeting this awesome boy please apply at chasintailrescuenc.com

Story
Heidi is a 6 year 2 month old Dutch Shepherd who was found in Gaston County as a stray. She is the most loveable sweetheart who loves to hug and snuggle (almost more than she likes her food bowl!) She loves to explore yet her recall is very good! She wants nothing more than a loving home. She loves her toys and will carry them out of her crate and hide them in the yard She likes nothing more than laying in the sun chewing a bone, though like most dogs she does get the zoomies occasionally. For a small 50 lb dog she can really move! Please help Heidi find her loving home!

Story
Meet 5 YO 42 lb Brodie! Brodie was adopted out of Lancaster Animal Shelter in 2019 and recently came back there with some small treatable medical issues which have been taken care of. Brodie is a little nervous but easily won over. Brodie wasn't interested in toys in the kennel but wanted to meet all of his neighbors. "He is a very sweet boy, but not used to being given attention. Brodie is now with one of our fosters and is doing well. In notes about him the word we see consistently is FRIENDLY. Please help Brodie find his furever home!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Nellie! She is an approximatley 11 month old Pitt mix whose had a hard road to travel. She was found by a shelter employee from Lancaster Animal Shelter in SC, with gunshot wounds to the neck and shoulder. It's estimated she survived two weeks on her own before being found. The great news is the Shelter got her the surgical care she needed and a medical foster helped her in recovery. She was welcomed with open arms by Chasin Tail Rescue, and has recovered completely! We love to see this story end with Nellie in a loving furever home! She's ready! She is completely vetted, spayed, UTD on vaccinations and loving her life with her fantastic foster in western NY State. She'd do best with an active family with a fenced yard, and continued training would be helpful for her to get in a routine in her new household. She is dog friendly and a real sweetheart!. Please help Nellie find a loving family....she's earned it!
