Story
Meet Rowdy he is a 7 year old 14 lb ball of fluff! His name fits him to a tee. This little guy is full of spunk. We recently adopted him but we cannot keep him due to the fact that he does not get along with our other dog. He is potty trained and will use a puppy pad if needed. We were told he gets along with dogs but from what we have experienced he does not like them one bit. So he would need a home where he is an only child! He is indifferent to kids but I wouldn’t trust him around little ones so an active older couple would probably be best for him. He will bark at the doorbell, when someone knocks or at a visitor. Rowdy walks well on a leash and loves to play fetch. His favorite thing is a ball and will play with one for hours! If you’re looking for a pup that will cuddle with you on the couch follow you around wherever you go and play fetch for hours this is your guy!!

Story
This is Tess! She is a blue pit who is 9 years old. She is the sweetest, most loving baby. She has been in my family her entire life, unfortunately my living situation is changing and I cannot keep her & no one in my family is able to take her into their homes right now. She would do good either as an only dog or in a home with other pets! She is very friendly but is dominant towards other dogs, so just keep that in mind. She does well in public spaces & loves car rides. She loves to run around and play but also is perfectly content laying around the house all day long with you. She is house & crate trained, however I rarely use her crate anymore as she really doesn’t need it. She does have arthritis but I just give her supplements to help!

Story
Duke was adopted from the animal shelter 7 years ago. They were unsure of his age then but we estimate 12-15 years old at this point. We hope to find him a home that has the patience and guidance that he deserves that can handle the baggages of his past. He absolutely loves belly scratches and treats! He is a super chewer so better hope your toys are up for the challenge! Sometimes he forgets how big he is and acts like a big goofy kid crawling into your lap. He does take a bit to warm up to other dogs and can sometimes be strong headed so please be patient.

Story
Cutie showed up on our doorstep in very poor health. She was about 18 months old and was on the verge of death from Heart-worms. She is heart worm free and healthy now and about 6 years old. . We love her and do not want to get rid of her but are having to relocate and have found no other options because of her breed. She is very loving, very sweet and great with children and families. She likes to roll in the grass during the day but for the most part loves to be inside. Because of her white hair being in the sun too much can cause her some skin irritation and I do have to give her a Benadryl occasionally when she is extra pink. Otherwise, she is fully trained and just wants someone to love her and be good to her. She has a little buddy named Shiloh who would Love to come with her. Male. Also showed up here. House trained, sweet. Barks a little more because of his keen sight.. he is 20 lbs and is a chocolate daschound mix

When asked which are the sweetest pups at the shelter, this girl is in the top 3!!!But Dottie's story didn't begin sweet at all. She came in with 6 other pups in November, 2023. She had been abused and was starving for food and human interaction. She now trusts us and is ready to begin trying to trust new people. Dottie absolutely loves other pups and would be best suited to live in a home with other furry siblings! We are working on leash training. She loves belly rubs. She is not aggressive at all and has a soft mouth when taking treats. She is fully vaxed, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed, so come on out and meet this sweetie!
