Story
Pips is a young and healthy Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix, 50 lbs weight, with blue heeler coloring. When I rescued him in February of 2023, the vet estimated him at 2 years old, making him 3-4 years old now. He was already neutered when I adopted him, and I have kept him up to date on all his vaccines. He takes one capsule of anxiety medication every morning. He's a sweetheart with all kinds of people, extremely eager to please, loves cuddles and head-butts, and very food motivated for easy training. He has typical high energy for the breed and loves to run. He was skittish and dog-aggressive initially, but has calmed down significantly with dedicated training. He is now mostly only reactive when leash walking, but his high energy and playful nature can sometimes frighten smaller or older dogs. I'd love for him to find a permanent home with lots of yard space or a farm to run around, or an active owner that wants to include him in frequent outdoor activities.

Story
Diamond does great on car rides, loves to go for walks or just hang out on your couch. Sometimes she is fearful of dogs larger than her. Just depends on the dog! Housebroken. Diamond is calm. :) Diamond's fee is sponsored! Disclosure for potential adopter: Heartworm Disclosure: Diamond is heartworm positive in shelter, we are managing her condition using an alternative method known at the Moxy/Doxy protocol. The advantage is she won't need 3 painful injections that require sedation, but the disadvantage is she may be positive for longer (up to a year vs 3-4 months). Once adopted, if you elect to pursue the injection protocols, it would be advisable (can cost +/- $1,000) by the American Heartworm Society. If you don't elect injections and opt for continued topical therapy, we recommend rechecking with a heartworm test as soon as 3-4 months from now- the sooner she is negative, the sooner she can restart full exercise. On this protocol she must be on Advantage Multi monthly and must be activity restricted (until then AVOID rigorous activity)

Story
Are you ready for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly loving companion? Meet Element , a who’s bursting with potential and waiting for her perfect forever home! This spirited girl needs an active family who can keep up with her energy and offer plenty of exercise, ideally with a big fenced yard where she can run to her heart’s content (a high fence is essential since she’s a skilled jumper). She thrives with someone who works from home or is home often, as she doesn’t do well crated for long periods due to some separation anxiety. She’s still learning the ropes of being a house dog, including leash manners—she’s an enthusiastic puller—and housetraining, where she’s making progress but still has occasional accidents. Her family will need to be patient, dedicated to training, and willing to celebrate her little victories along the way. While she’s friendly, her energy level makes her better suited for a home without young kids, and a cat-free household is a must. This sweet girl would also love a calm canine companion to show her the ropes—she’s especially bonded to her current buddy, an older lab mix, and follows his lead in everything from house manners to relaxing during downtime. If you’re an active, loving, and patient dog owner looking for a partner to train, play, and grow with, Element might be the perfect match!

Story
At 6 yrs old he still has a lot of energy and gets the zoomies around the house .He loves our fenced in backyard! He'll play tug with a rope but once he gets it, he takes it back to his crate with his other toys. He doesn't seem to get the concept of fetch but we're working on that still. He does know sit but will need some work on basic commands and leash manners.

Story
She is a sweet girl who lives to be with her people. She loves to play fetch or just snuggle on the couch. Her favorite is to lay down by a warm fire.  She would be the best addition to a family with kids who are a bit older.  While she is super friendly, she doesn’t know her own size.  She would also be great for someone who wants a true loyal companion- Athena is your girl.  I do not crate her and she is fully house trained.  She would love to end this year with a forever family.
