Bambi came to us when her owner was evicted. She is a wonderful dog, but sometimes does get nervous with new people. She is low energy, housetrained and is very loving with her family. Quavo seems like a very happy dog. This 9 year old boy was adopted in 2016 but ended up back at the shelter as a stray. He is very low energy and loves to take naps outside. He seems good with other dogs, he really loves people, including children. Quavo really likes to get his head scratched and tummy rubbed. That will put a smile on his face! Dobby was picked up as a stray by his local shelter. At first with strangers, he might try to bite, but give him a day or two and then he is usully fine. He warms up slowly, but when he knows you he likes to be petted and will sit on your lap. He will keep you entertained when he dances on his hind legs to get a treat. This is what his foster mom said about Dobby: "I've been keeping little Dobby while Jan (Jan's Animal Rescue) has been on vacation. This little fella is so cute and smart. He does need time to get adjusted to a new place. He would be great for someone that's at home alot and has no small children. He would also need a slow introduction to another dog. Preferably one close to his size. He's crate trained, potty trained, walks great on a leash. Once he gets used to his new person and his new environment, he's a great lap dog." He is wonderful little dog and deserves a loving home so that he will never have to worry again about being safe, or where his next meal will come from. We are doing a courtesy post for a really wonderful dog named Bella. She is a full bread German Shepherd, 66 pounds and was born in May of 2023. Bella's family can no longer keep her, so she is looking for a new forever home. What an awesome dog! She came to one or our PetSmart adoption fairs and fit in so well! She is really great with children, friendly with adults and good with other dogs. Bella rarely barks, and is low to medium energy level. She prefers not to be home alone for long periods of time. Theo is such a sweetheart. He has never met a stranger and loves pets and rubs from anyone . He is extremely sociable and loves belly rubs. Theo barley barks and when he does its usually because he is frightened or is playing and its the cute beagle howl. He gets along well with other dogs and does amazing with cats. He loves to nap and sleep up under blankets. He likes to sleep on the bed but he is just content if he has to have his own bed. He is such a sweet boy and any family will be lucky to have him as a member.
