Story
NOTE: MAGGIE is located in Ypsilanti, Mi. Maggie is an AKC SMOOTH COAT (short hair) Border Collie. She is a sweetheart. She is cautious when meeting new people, but once she meets you a couple times she will come up to you to be petted. She has these what I call soulful eyes. She has some training, but I failed her on doing more. Maggie absolutely adores the water, going for walks and rides. She is good with children. She is NOT good around chickens. As for cats, she really hasn't had any interaction with one, but I said no to be on the safe side. Your yard should be fenced in for her safety. She LOVES to run with other dogs. I have retired and am planning to do a lot of traveling, which isn't fair to Maggie. She is not a big "kisser" but loves to snuggle and be petted. I will want to do a home visit to mainly meet family and your backyard. Maggie you sometimes called Maggie Rose and she also responds to mags. She also knows what I mean when I say be a good doggy. She knows when I say were you a bad doggy. She is an absolute sweetheart. I will miss her greatly but I want to do right by her. You should be willing to send me a picture once or twice a year give me an update on how she's doing.

Story
Meet Rocco, a one-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix who is a bundle of high-energy. Weighing in at 67lbs pounds of pure affection! Rocco is the definition of a companion. He has a gentle heart, always ready to give kisses and receive belly rubs! Though Rocco has been around other dogs, he would be most comfortable as the only dog in the home. He’s been selective with his doggy friends, preferring a bit of space, but his experience with another pup was peaceful, even sharing water and enjoying walks side by side. He loves running, tug of war, and his big squeaky pig toy. His enthusiasm for life shines through in everything he does! Rocco could use a bit of leash training but he’s a quick learner! Rocco is crate trained, house-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Rocco will need a family that’s committed to training and providing him with an active lifestyle.

Story
This is Rocco! He is a pitbull who is very loving and has lots of energy! He’s 2 years old as of November. He’s looking for his forever home! He is a big cuddle bug and thinks he is a lap dog. He has had minimal interactions with other dogs so an only dog household would be best. He’s should need some leash training as he is oh so excited but even mentioning outside. He is looking for a family that will bring him in as one of their own and give him the best snuggles and tug of war game that has happened. He’s the best boy ever and he knows it. Can you be the right family for Rocco?

Story
Bumper is the biggest loverdog we've ever met. When he isn't trying to play tug-of-war or fetch, he is curling up on the couch with his head on your lap. He loves to cuddle in bed after he's let out of his crate and will happily roll over for a belly rub. He enjoys being the little spoon. This big boy loves affection. Bumper is doing well with house training. He has had a few accidents but is getting better each day. He has learned "sit" and knows he is only allowed on one couch and not the other. He does well in his crate - he will whine for a few minutes but settles down quickly. When we're at home, he will bark a few times if he hears someone near the door, but is pretty quiet otherwise. He's a bit of a zig-zagger during walks and loves to greet everybody that walks by, but has already improved a ton from day one! He has never tried to chew anything that isn't a toy or get into any food that he shouldn't. He's got manners! This dog loves people. He has befriended many people at the Gateway Mission men's center. He loves to walk by and get attention. He is kind to every visitor we've had in the apartment, eager to play and cuddle. As for children, Bumper gets mouthy and ~spirited~ when he plays, so he's better in a home with teens and up. He doesn't use force and redirects well to a toy. We are hoping he loses this trait as he becomes more comfortable in a home! This is one good dog. We love Bumper and are so thankful to be his foster fam!
