Story
Lea and Ace are a charming pair of 3-year-old dogs currently blossoming in their new environment. Although still a work in progress, they are adapting well and showing significant improvement. They thrive best in a quiet home with 2-3 people and other friendly dogs, and they would be most comfortable in a setting without children. Both dogs are doing well with house training, using pee pads effectively, especially during cold weather. They enjoy outdoor playtime but can be a bit tricky to corral back inside. Their leash training has just begun, as they have only been on a leash once, but they are smart and will learn quickly once they become more comfortable. Lea and Ace are adventurous and playful when left to their own devices, although they have a mischievous side, often found stealing socks, shoes, and remotes. Lea is the more vocal of the two, barking at noises or fellow dogs, while Ace is easygoing and quiet. Their bond is strong; Lea is very attached to Ace and prefers to stay close to him, often running in circles to avoid human interaction. When it comes to eating, they need to be fed separately, as Lea tends to eat Ace’s food. The best setup involves keeping Lea in a crate while Ace eats outside, ensuring they can see each other. Although Ace can adapt well without Lea if surrounded by other dogs, Lea would struggle without him, likely becoming stressed and hiding. On the health front, both dogs are seeing improvements, with their fur growing back nicely. Lea had previously overeaten by stealing from Ace, leading to weight gain, but increased playtime and separated feeding times are helping her get back in shape. If you think you can provide the ideal environment for Lea and Ace, they would love to meet you!

Story
This cutie is 2-year-old and looking for his forever home! He does well with other dogs and knows when to back down when he invades their personal space. He acclimates to new places quickly and is super sweet to anyone he meets! Like most of us, Dallas doesn't like to be alone. His focus to food is unbreakable, but he's been learning to sit at his spot and wait until his food is ready. He also does well with cats, he mostly ignores the ones he's living within his foster home. Dallas also is good with kids! His back legs are springs, and he gets excited when he gets attention and play bites when he's overstimulated. It's not out of aggression or fear; he's just an excited pup! Because of this, he would do best with children who are a little older or understand that he's a lot of pup to handle!

Spike is a beautiful brindle colored boy who is a bundle of energy! He is strong, extremely playful, already knows how to sit, and enjoys visiting the shelter's dog park area. Spike has enjoyed playing with toys and taking advantage of our agility equipment while living in the shelter. While Spike can go to a home with respectful children but would do best in a home with no other dogs
