Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mwanna is a very sweet, 8 year old chihuahua.  She is blind but gets around fairly well once she learns the lay out. She is friendly and loves to be around people. She is happy to snuggle on the couch. She is very calm and rarely barks unless she is locked up away from people.  She can’t see so even if you are nearby, she can’t tell, so she calls out for you. She is working on housebreaking.  She goes potty outside if taken out on a regular basis and does use piddle pads.  She is very fond of her daughter, Delilah.  It would be nice if they could stay together. With love and attention, Mwanna would make a perfect pet. No history with cats, older children and physical fence required.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Buddy &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Buddy is an 11-month-old, 40-pound Frenchie/Golden mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is not only adorable—he’s also a true survivor. Just a couple months ago, Buddy was struck by a vehicle and suffered a broken pelvis. Thanks to proper care, rest, and his incredible spirit, he has made an amazing recovery and has been cleared for full activity! Now that he’s feeling great, Buddy is ready to enjoy life to the fullest—and he’s hoping to find a family to share it with. Buddy is a playful, energetic pup who absolutely loves his morning zoomies and outdoor adventures. Because of his curious nature and love of exploring, he would do best in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can safely sniff and roam. He does well with other dogs and would love a canine companion to play with. Buddy enjoys playtime, chewing on his favorite bones, and being part of the action—but when the day winds down, he turns into a total cuddle bug who just wants to be close to his people. Buddy is still young and will benefit from continued training and guidance as he grows into the best version of himself. He’s smart, eager, and ready to learn with the right family by his side. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving, playful companion who has already proven how strong and special he is, Buddy might just be your perfect match. Buddy is ready for his fresh start… could it be with you? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 children over the age of 10.  Physica fence required.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet This Sweet & Smart Boy! This handsome pup is very sweet and incredibly smart. He’s alert, eager to learn, and will do great with a family who will continue working with him on training and helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He enjoys people and likes children, but due to his size he would likely do best with older kids who can handle a bigger, enthusiastic companion. Before coming into rescue, he spent much of his time wandering the streets and visiting neighborhood yards. He was known to sneak into yards to play with dog friends, so he does have experience around other dogs. As with any new dog, proper introductions will be important to help everyone get off to a good start. Because of his past, he does have some fear of the leash and harness, making a physical fence a requirement but our volunteers are actively working with him to build confidence and positive associations, and he is already making progress. At this time, there is no known history with cats. This sweet, smart boy is ready for a patient family who will continue helping him learn, grow, and finally enjoy the stability and love he deserves. With guidance and consistency, he’s sure to become a loyal and wonderful companion.&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment.
