Sometimes I get excited and bark but I have a non shock anti-bark collar that keeps me quiet. I will bring it with me to your house. I was rescued by mamma from the streets of Ajijic, Mexico some 8 yrs 🐾 Hello, we are Isa (terrier mix) and Khufu (basenji mix). We need a new forever home because our mama died in Mexico in December. 😢 We were there with her and endured a long drive back to Michigan. 🚘 Our mama's last wish was for us to stay together in a loving family atmosphere. Mama's daughter lives in Ann Arbor and has been with us through this heartbreaking ordeal. We like her a lot because she walks us every day and cuddles with us. 🐶 Our mama hasn't been able to do this for us for a while and that makes us sad. We are good with other animals and children and are house trained. Please consider meeting us!

I can’t bark because of my breeding. I still have some fun energy and love prancing around with my sister, but also love to cuddle. Mamma adopted me in the US about 9 yrs ago. 🐾 Hello, we are Isa (terrier mix) and Khufu (basenji mix). I adopted Zia at 6mos from Korean K9 Rescue in NYC and she is now 3yo. I moved to Michigan shortly after adopting her. She is a sweet, quiet dog who loves to be outside. I love her dearly but am moving back to NYC and do not feel it will be a conducive environment for her. Looking for someone who can give her a loving new home. A yard is ideal but not essential. She is generally good with people though she does sometimes bark at strangers when they first come into the house. She’s protective of what she views as her “territory”, but is never aggressive and has never bitten anyone. Other than barking at strangers and delivery people she is generally very quiet. She begs with her eyes and never her bark :) She generally eats only once a day in the evening. She is used to 3 walks a days. 1 short potty walk in the morning, 1 longer exercise walk in the afternoon, and 1 short potty walk at night before bed. She accepts cuddles and pets etc., but is not cuddly like a golden.

Story
I got Marcy during Covid so she was never properly introduced to other animals. She’s been around other dogs in a professional training environment and does well around them with an experienced dog owner. Marcy has been around my niece and nephew who are three and six and she has never shown aggression towards them. Very loving dog, who needs a lot of attention. She is crate trained but definitely an energetic little girl so she needs a walk afterwards. my wife and I have recently become pregnant and between our jobs school and the pregnancy. We just don’t have enough time to give Marcy the love she deserves. we have only had a two incidences where she got possessive over food. other than those couple of times she has been nothing but a loving member of our family and she deserves to be with somebody who has the time for her.

Story
Indy quickly becomes everyone’s favorite Dobie due to his agreeable nature and persistence to live life to its fullest. He spends time lounging on his orthopedic dog bed between meals, barking if breakfast is late -then barks to announce its time to check the yard and stretch our legs. Happy to sunbath and monitor the other dogs, a peacemaker - he will bark to tattle on the dogs not playing nice. He has some white hairs and scars around his face, skin tags and one unruly ear crop - he is neutered, Heartworm treated and on prevention. Required treatment for skin and respiratory infections at intake. His blue coat is still growing back. He showed signs of neglect and had been abandoned as just a skeleton of a dog. Given a clean bill of health - he is adoptable (approximately 6 years old) Optional Transport meet-up Locations include Ohio, Chicago area, Kalamazoo, Battlecreek, Portage, Jackson and Ann Arbor.
