Story
Hello, World- Meet Jazzy!Jazzy is a fun, vibrant, and energetic 1.5-year-old pitbull mix who is ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of excitement to your life! She’s an affectionate and people-loving girl who thrives in a social environment and is always up for an adventure. Whether it`s playing fetch, running around in a yard, or just spending time with her favorite humans, Jazzy is always full of enthusiasm and fun. This sweet girl also loves the company of other dogs and enjoys playing with them in an active, friendly manner. However, due to her high energy, Jazzy would do best in a home without cats or small children, as she might unintentionally overwhelm them with her exuberance.Jazzy is still working on some basic manners and would benefit from obedience training to help her become the best companion she can be. Her ideal home would include a large, fenced-in yard where she can run, explore, and play to her heart`s content. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you on your toes, bring endless joy, and is eager to learn and grow with you, Jazzy could be the perfect fit. With the right training, love, and attention, Jazzy will make an amazing addition to your family! Are you ready to meet this spunky, lovable girl? Jazzy can’t wait to find her forever home!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED!

Story
Crisco here, reporting for cute dog duty!I am an extremely handsome, caramel-colored Mastiff/Pitbull mix dog weighing in at just over 60 lbs. I love toys, and I love playing with both my human AND canine friends. I know how to sit very well, but since I`m still young, I need a forever home that will be dedicated to taking me to basic and intermediate obedience classes, not only for my socialization needs, but training needs as well. It is important for me to find a home that will also be intentional about making sure I get in lots of daily excercise because I have tons of energy.I have never had any experience with cats, but feline friends aren`t really a great idea for me. I am big and strong and will do best in a home with older children in their teens who will be strong enough to manage me. What can I say? It`s awesome being in such great shape! Please come see me and my friends today. I can`t wait to meet you!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $50

Story
Rex is currently 3 1/2 years old male Doberman. He will be 4 years old in February 2025. Rex was brought to us from a great family that could no longer care for him. He is up to date with his vaccines and is in tacked (not fixed). He has been with us for over 2 months, he loves to play, he loves to be with people, he has been great with my wife and I, and my older kids (16 and older). We don’t know how and he is with little kids or other animals. We just know he would be great for an older couple, or single person that needs a jogging buddy, somewhere he can run daily, and needs to be close to the owner(s). He needs a NON children home where the adults are experienced with Dobermans. Somewhere he doesn't have to compete for attention with other animals. He would make a great running companion, guard dog, and family member and best friend.

Story
Everyone, meet Barry!Barry is the new big man on the block and he`d like for you to come say hello! Barry is a black labrador mix approximately 9 years of age and weighs in around 90 pounds. He is definitely full grown and even though he is a bit older, he will enjoy lots of long walks. He knows how to sit and shake and I`ll bet that with just the right kind of treats, you can teach him even more new tricks!Barry came to us as a stray but has not been taken care of the best before he came to us. He has a bit of scarring around his neck from either a collar that was too tight, or being tied out on a rope way too long. He LOVES to get scratches and pets and will rub his head into yours to show you home much he loves you.Barry is not fixed just yet so he has a tendency to be a bit jumpy on the other dogs but that should subside slowly after his surgery appointment. Until that time, Barry will be available to foster to adopt. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED.
