Story
Indiana is a beautiful loving, and playful 5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix. My elderly mother is moving into the home. She is unstable and needs assistance, so having him in the home when caregivers come and go is not feasible as some are afraid of larger dogs. She has also let him out into the neighborhood in the past, and scared some neighbor's kids (unpleasant situation), and the neighbors are now not fond of him. These are the reasons we need to find him a new home. He is playful and sometimes aggressive with dogs, but not mean. He has never attacked and bitten another dog or human. He can act dominant over some other dogs which has scared other dog owners, as he can be loud and aggressive in displaying dominance. He has been trained but his adherence has sometimes been sporadic if his attention is pulled away. I recently purchased a $600 Halo collar and trained him on that which has been very effective for obedience, but not tested fully on fence feature.

Story
Joel loves the outdoors. He loves to roll around in the grass and bathe in the sun. He follows his nose anywhere, usually along a tree line and into tall grass and weeds. Any chance he gets, he'll hop into a river or pond, even in the dead of winter. I'm looking for a new home for Joel where he can spend more time outdoors doing the things he loves—ideally 2+ hours per day to explore. Joel is used to living with other dogs and has done well around young children. He can be hit-or-miss with strange dogs on walks, but he can get comfortable with anyone after some exposure. Cats get him very excited, but he tends to scare them off. When you adopt Joel, you can take all his gear home with him—toys, leashes, collars, etc. His favorite toy is the 13" Multipet Duckworth. Joel isn't trained per se, but he knows his name and can do a few tricks. His DNA test shows that he is: 50% Poodle (Standard) 22.9% Australian Shepherd 13% Boston Terrier 8.2% Beagle 5.9% Cocker Spaniel

Story
We inherited Dixie from my partner's mother who is now too old to care for her. We would love to keep Dixie however she has allergies that require her to have a perscription food diet, take weekly medicated shampoo baths, and may require cytopoint injection therapy for her allergies. Despite our best efforts we are unable to afford her treatments and have no choice but to find another family for her. She is very sweet and playful but she still has a lot to learn. For example she still needs to learn not to pull on the leash, and not to bark at new people. I would like to keep in touch with the family that choses to adopt her to make sure she will be ok as well as aid in her medical recovery with the history information I have about her. This is a high maintnence dog that needs training and medical needs. I am setting her adoption price to 100 dollars because the person who wishes to adopt her has to have enough money to support her diet and hygene regime. (734) 707-6389

Story
Bean is 15 yes old, has been with me whole time. She can only eat chicken boiled or baked with baked potatoes add a little butter for taste. She has some aches and pains in left hind legs, walks are out of the question. This late in her life she has the zoomies, she will take off as if she's a pup again. Can be very stubborn at times and will go potty due to weather. I've tried to give her affection, as a old dog she only takes very little hugs and kisses. She must be contained or crated at night or left alone. She does have potty issues. Bean is adorable, she needs someone who loves dogs and she never been around kids. Also she had 4 teeth removed so there's that. Grating her meal helps her eat. Love her very much, she needs more than I can give patients ❤️. I hope that this help her get adopted my someone have the time and heart for a senior dog

Story
Halo has led a very sheltered life of late but he's about as perfect dog as anyone can hope for. He's 3.5 years old. We've had him for a few months now and we've learned a ton about his personality and he's about as perfect a dog as anyone can hope to find in this life.. He is VERY smart. He loves people, primarily women, he is fine around other dogs and cats. He reacts to people in a friendly way but needs to go slow in meeting them at first. If someone has an issue with dogs and behaves weird around him, he doesn't understand that so he will bark at them, but once he is properly introduced, he will love on them. He needs a loving home with a woman in it that will be his person. A person that is going to have the time and energy to focus on him, spoiling him and having a great amount of exercise daily. He's active, he's busy, but he does calm down and snuggle after play time. Very sweet with kids, he's best with kids that are ages 8 and older, but he has been around younger kids and he's not a fan of long term exposure to them, he will look for an adult to cling to. This is what we are looking for, for him. Smoke free house with a big fenced yard. An active person who has the need for a bestie and is pretty social and active. Someone who is either a couple or works from home. He is going to need a home where his person works from home or has a business they can take him along. No apartments or manufactured home neighborhoods will be considered. He was in a crate ten hours a day and we are not going back to him being in a crate. He does heavily attach to his people. He's even made besties with a horse he's fostered with and he loves her. He's very well behaved and a great rider in the car. He LOVES going for rides and rides great in the car. Older kids are perfect for him. No kids is even more perfect for him. He likes certain other dogs. he's fine around cats. He's 19 pounds and cute as a button. He is house trained and tells you when he needs to go out. Very happy pup. He is not big on barking but he does and he will let you know when someone is approaching. Pretty great guard dog. So to recap: News house with good size fenced yard Loves car rides Great with cats, dogs, kids but doesn't want to live with kids full time Non smoking home Loves women way more than men Needs his person to be home or working from home Needs a lot of exercise often Likes play dates with other dogs, if living with another dog, that dog needs to let him be the spoiled one without cutting in front to steal the attention For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or send me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com if you'd like information or a response.

Story
Jenny (6 yrs, Beagle mix) and Zoey (4 yrs. American Staffordshire Terrier) need a new home because the owner is moving out of the country shortly. Zoey has a lot of enery and makes a game out of everything. Jenny is a little sweetheart. She is very mellow and loves to cuddle and nap. Both are okay with cats. We would like them to go together.
