Story
Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. I spent the majority of my early life in an animal testing laboratory-- did you know that dogs and cats are used for animal testing, too? Despite everything that I've been through, I'm a sweet and happy girl now that Beagle Freedom Project has rescued me. Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies. Attention and being pet are necessities as well, of course! A good cuddle at the end of a long day will fill me with joy. A good treat and some cuddles are enough to motivate to learn like a pro. I love being near my favorite humans, and playing with my favorite toys. If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for your family. I prefer a home that has: A fenced yard, no other animals (I want all of your attention!), adults-only (or older children!), lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi there! My name is Lainey! Aren't I just the sweetest girl? Before being rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I went through a really tough time. I was hit by a car and then dumped at a high-kill shelter, left all alone and scared. But I never gave up hope, and when BFP heard my story, they jumped in to save me! Now that I'm healthy and healed, I'm ready to share all my love with a family who will cherish me. I may have a funny little walk (thanks to my past injury), but it doesn't slow me down one bit-I still want nothing more than to be by your side. I'm a total cuddle bug, always eager to snuggle and soak up affection. I love neck and ear scratches, and if you rub my belly, I'll roll right over to enjoy every moment! I'm also a bit of a talker. If I see a cat, squirrel, or even a stranger, I'll give a little howl to make sure you know I'm keeping an eye on things. I just want to be with people-I'm happiest when I'm near you, getting all the love I can! If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close to you, I would love to be your girl. Will you give me the forever home I've always dreamed of? I would prefer a home that has: No other dogs (I'm okay with other dogs, but really prefer to be the center of attention), adults-only (I'm too nervous to feel confident around children), lots of love! My location: MENIFEE, CA *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Hi there! I'm Cookie, a super sweet and loving beagle boy! I'm such a happy pup; don't you just love my adorable and silly smile? I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? I'm so thankful to have been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, because now I'm starting to thrive! I can be a little nervous at first, but once i trust you, I'll be sure give you lots of affection and engage in some goofy playtime! I have a moderate energy level, so I'll make a great adventure buddy or perfect snuggle companion. I'll do best in a home where I can be your one and only animal as other dogs and cats seem to scare me. I hope an adopter notices me soon! Sometimes, I still have bad dreams about my time in the laboratory and wake up feeling so scared... could you give me my forever home so that I'll know no one will ever hurt me again? I would prefer a home that has: no other animals, adults-only, lots of love! Hi there! I'm Wallace, the cutest and sweetest beagle mix ever! Everyone tells me I have the most darling face and floppy ears. I spent most of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am gaining confidence every day. I can be shy at first because of my past, but once I know you won't hurt me, I'll love to run and play together! I also loving getting affection and pets. I am scared of other animals as I was never permitted to interact with them in the laboratory, so I will do best in a home where I can be my adopter's one and only! I hope an adopter notices me soon... I'll be the best companion ever for my forever family! Could you give me my forever home? Hi there! I'm Carol, a loving, silly, and playful beagle girl! I absolutely love cuddles and affection. You wouldn't guess it based on my loving personality, but I actually spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm looking for a loving adopter that will let me be the apple of their eye! I enjoy spending all of my time snuggling and playing with people! I'm still figuring out the best way to play with other dogs as I get so excited, but I do well with them so long as they are just as sweet and silly as me.
