Story
Meet Comet! Here is a bit about him, in his own words… or woofs… -I LOVE toys but not small ones, bones to chew and I get the zoomies all the time. -I’m very loving, I’m learning how to cuddle and love to lay on the couch with a bone. -I think I would like a doggy friend but also could be happy as an only dog. -I’ve been neutered and got a clean bill of health from the vet as well. -I would love someone who would work with me on learning better leash skills and manners training. Comet was a shelter pull at risk of euthanasia due to space and the time he had been there. We were able to get him full vaccinated, neutered, and even allergy tested. He’s been doing great on the specific allergy friendly food he is on. We are thankful we could give him the chance at a forever life by bringing him to our rescue and helping him on his journey to finding a family! If Comet sounds like he could be a match, please fill out an application on our website.

Story
Meet Reba! This sweet girl was unfortunately dealt a tough start to life where she was chained in the backyard and neglected to a point where her collar had to be surgically removed from her neck. The sweet lady has made incredible strides in her life since then and we know the right family will leave all her bad memories in the past and fill up her future with only love. We’ve made up a list for what this special girl would like in a forever home: -An active home with lots of walks and time to play ball. -I am crate trained but it’s not my favorite place so I would love to sleep in bed and cuddle on the couch with you. -Older kids would be best since I can be a little hyper I might knock a little one down. -She is open to having a doggy sibling but no cats If interested in applying for Reba, please fill out an application on our website. She can’t wait to meet you!

Kali is around 2 years old and only 37lb. She is fully potty and crate trained. Loves to play with stuffies, tug and fetch are her favorite. Kali is working on her manners, she can be a bit mouthy. She takes a little time to warm up, when she does its play time and kisses. Kali is a mix of 15 different breeds including 2% Xoloitzcuintli according to her DNA and they all contribute to her unique look. Kali does have some food allergies that can easily be managed. Story
Oh, Nyx....where do I begin. This girl is a special one! She came to us when our vet asked us to take in a special needs puppy. Nyx was born with hydrocephalus and the breeder didn't want her so she surrendered Nyx to our vet. Her hydrocephalus doesn't affect her health in any way now but we believe it has affected her personality. Nyx is a very special girl who will need a VERY special adopter. One who is patient and calm and willing to accept Nyx for who she is! Nyx wants affection on her terms but will run from you if you try to pick her up. You have to go low and slow so she won't run from you. Nyx will HAVE to have a fenced in yard for that very reason - if she got out you probably wouldn't get her to come back to you. Nyx likes other dogs but doesn't really know how to play with them and can mean to them when she's just trying to get them to play. We think all of her quirks are a direct result of her hydrocephalus. She can be so loving, but she is definitely a quirky one! Nyx will do best with older children or a quiet household. If you are the unicorn adopter we are looking for - who is willing to accept Nyx for who she is - please fill out our application at www.goofyfootrescue.org Nyx is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

CALL/TEXT US AT 610-787-2353 WITH YOUR LOCATION NAME ETC. OR EMAIL US AT dawnleemcmahon@gmail.com TO RECEIVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION (which is required). FREE TO A LOVING HOME. TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE ALMOST ANYWHERE WITHIN REASON FOR A WONDERFUL LOVING HOME. Denver, Colorado - My old boss, Julie Chovanes has tragically and shockingly passed a few days ago and has left behind 2 bonded senior black labrador retrievers (males) that urgently needs a loving, understanding home. They cannot be separated at their old age of 11 years old. I am helping Julie's children find a caring forever home. Please let me know via text/phone or PM if you know of a wonderful place for them or if you can bring in these two old timers and give them a loving home with cuddles and fun in the sun. They do not ask for much other than respect, kindess and cuddles. They are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs and doing well. They just went to the vet for bloodwork and exam. Below is Julie's son's bio and update on these two dogs. TRANSPORTATION IS AVAILABLE TO A GREAT HOME. ANY ADOPTER WOULD BE ASKED TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH THE FAMILY ON THE DOGS' MILESTONES, UPDATES ETC. From Julie's son: Aragorn and Legolas. In terms of their personality they are very sweet and pretty sedentary at the moment. My sister Kathryn has said that they have been really sweet with her dog and allowed her to bark at them. Kathryn also said that they have walked by other dogs with no issue. In terms of their health here is an update from the vet today via my sister: Update on the boys: vet says they are so sweet and very overweight. Aragorn’s arthritis is worse (which we all knew). Their blood work is back and good and they are healthy and happy with only the need to address losing weight and meds/supplements for Aragorn's arthritis. Exercise (meandering the park and walks in the neighborhood will benefit immensely). Please consider opening up your heart to 2 senior labs that just need a loving home together. They have been well loved since puppies and missing their owner. Compassion, love and senior dog knowledge a must.
