Story
Hi there, I'm Max. My age has given me wisdom and a love for the simple things in life. I'm a sweet, friendly soul, always curious about the world around me. I can be a bit goofy at times, but that's part of my charm. I'm smart too, always eager to learn new things. Cuddles? Oh, I'm a big fan! I'm just a sweet and happy medium energy guy!I've never met a cat before, so the people here aren't sure how I would do with them, and I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I've never been around kids either, but I'm such a friendly guy, so I would probably be ok with dog savvy children. Walking me might be a workout, I do love to pull on the leash. Apartments aren't really my style, I could run into another dog in those narrow hallways and I'd really rather not do that. I need space to roam and sniff. I am a Special Paws pet in the Signature Pets Program because I have allergies that will likely require some extra care to keep under control and managed. Since I am a Special Paws pet, my adoption fee is up to you!Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless curiosity.

*ruff ruff ruff!!!!* HELLLLLO! *ruff ruff ruff! MY NAME IS LUTHERAN! But you can call me Luther, Luthey, whatever you think is cute for a handsome lad like myself. I don't mean to yell at you!!! But I am just a loud, energetic guy!! I tend to bark a lot when meeting new people or other doggos. I just have a lot to say, and have to voice my opinion and scope things out first. I think because of this, an apartment-type environment for me wouldn't be super ideal, I'm sure your neighbours won't think my singing voice is as pretty as I do! I'm an Underdog because I'm a very high energy boy, and like to voice my opinion. I'm looking for an understanding home, which my adoption fee is up to you!I am hoping for a home that can work on some proper training for me. I'm a bit of a wild child, but I'm a super fun guy! I also LOVE to be loved by my favourite people, and would love an active lifestyle where I will get lots of exercise and fun activities! It's best that I be the only dog in the home, I like all of the attention to be on me.I cannot wait for my new home!See Lutheran on Tiktok! https://tinyurl.com/swntbvkf

Story
Hi there! I'm Timbit, your friendly neighborhood goofball. My life's a bit of a comedy, really. One day, I was chasing my tail - a game I invented, mind you - and the next, I found myself in this fun place they call a 'shelter'. How did I end up here? Well, I spotted a squirrel during my tail-chasing escapade, and you know how it is with us dogs and squirrels. Long story short, I followed it and got lost. But don't worry, I'm having a blast here, making new friends every day both human and dog! Speaking of squirrels, I'm pretty over the top around them. And rabbits, and any small critter that intrigues me. The humans here said I might need some work on this while on a walk, I know it's a normal dog thing, but just something for you to know about so we can do some training together! I also get a bit spooked with things that have wheels, like bikes, skateboarders, etc. They're just super unfamiliar to me and I don't know what they're intentions are.... But again, I'm willing to work on some of my quirks if you're willing to help! I am a super sweet, friendly, and loving boy. If you're looking for a buddy who can turn even the simplest things into a laugh riot, then I'm your guy. So, how about it? Adopt me and let's fill your home with laughter and love!

Story
Meet Penny, a sweetheart hailing from the heart of Texas. Her personality is as warm as the southern sun. Penny's mellow demeanor and gentle nature make her the perfect companion for quiet evenings and leisurely walks. Although she can be a bit shy at first, once she warms up to you, she's the most loyal friend you'll ever find. Penny loves nothing more than to cuddle up close and share in your company. Her friendly and loving nature is infectious, bringing a sense of calm and happiness wherever she goes. While in Texas, Penny participated in dog playgroups where she met many dogs of various sizes and was described as low-mid energy with the other dogs, allows greets and is social with all, playful, soft, submissive, runs around and explores. Penny has mastered the art of being good with both people and fellow dogs, making her the life of any gathering. When Penny arrived to Canada, she spent time in a foster home while she was getting ready for adoption. Her foster family tells us that initially Penny was shy and they had to go slow, but in a short time (once she felt safe), she was a real delight! One of her favoruite things are to sit in the front window and watch the world go by. Penny can be left alone in the home without issue (not destructive), patiently stands to allows her feet to be wiped (if the grass is wet) and is a quiet and mellow lady. We suspect she would do best in an adult home, or a family with mature children. Adopting Penny means gaining a companion who will offer unconditional love and friendship. Her sweet and gentle spirit is sure to bring joy to any home. Let Penny show you the true meaning of friendship and love.

Story
Hi I'm Bolte! If you are wondering how I got that name..its probably because I like to bolt out of the yard and go on many adventures! My favorite thing to do is go adventuring on my own so you will see that I have been at the humane society many times. That being said, I think I would do fine if I got the appropriate amount of exercise and mental stimulation every day. Which means lots of walkies!! and lots of games! And being supervised in the back yard.Even though I'm a senior I've still got lots of spunk and energy and a ton of love to give. I am pretty smart and know things like sit, down, shake, wait, drop it....but in true husky fashion I only like to do them what I want to.Anyways, If you are looking for a sweet and friendly boy like me to keep you on your toes, then apply to adopt me today! I can't wait to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kiki. I'm not like the other dogs. I like my space and prefer to do things on my own. I'm a bit shy and can be anxious in new situations, but once I get to know you, I promise I'll be your loyal companion. You see, I spent a lot of time outside in my previous home, so I'm not used to all the inside sights and attention. Because of this, an apartment would likely not work well for me, I'm just too nervous of the sounds and doorways. I haven't met many dogs before, but I got to play with one here and it sure was a lot of fun! If you have another dog, it's best that it be respectful and patient. I haven't been around cats or children and because I'm a nervous guy, it's best any children you have are a bit old and very dog savvy. I might need a bit of patience, but I assure you, it's worth it. I'm not one for big crowds or loud noises, so a calm, quiet home would suit me best. I'm looking for someone who understands me and can give me the love I need. Will you be my forever friend?See Kiki on Tiktok! https://tinyurl.com/5n7xpbcm
