Rhea is a beautiful girl looking for a foster or furever home. She was born around March 2022. She is e-collar and crate trained, and she loves to play. She came from a background of neglect, abuse and health issues; but has overcome all of it with proper care, socialization and training. She still needs patience because she is fearful of new people without slow introductions, but once she knows you- she worships you and loves on you so hard. She just needs to establish trust and a safe boundary first. Rhea would do best as a solo pet for now because she is still learning. Rhea's preferred adopter will be someone who can provide consistent structure, open to families with older children (14+) as she is strong and still learning. She is a healthy gal who is spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, and microchipped. Her foster is gifting all her gear to her furever home: crate, blankets, a cot, ecollar and remote, slow feeding bowl, harness and collar. Thomas got adopted and they decided to turn around to return him before they even made it home. We NEED to share the story because we believe someone out there will appreciate it & love Thomas more for it! On his way home from being adopted, Thomas & his new family were going through the McDonald’s drive thru. (We’ve all smelled the delicious scent of a McD’s drive thru...) When they pulled up to the window, Thomas smelled THAT SMELL and couldn’t contain his excitement. He took a leap — straight out of the car window, through the drive thru window & ended up INSIDE THE MCDONALD’S. Yes, that’s right. This little hamburglar could join in on Olympic jumping team…if burgers were at the finish line. If you appreciate this story as much as we do, you’ll appreciate the joy Thomas brings. In his defense, who hasn’t made questionable decisions in a drive thru?! Thomas is crate- and potty-trained, making him a perfect addition to any home.
