We have had Bentley since he was a pup. He is super sweet and super gentle. Unfortunately, we have too many animals on our farm and are trying to downsize, so we are looking to rehome him. He is around 7 years old. He gets along well with other dogs and children. He loves puppies. Please reach out if you are interested in this gentle giant.

Story
George is really really sweet, but we are looking to downsize our farm which is why he is looking for a new home. George loves playing fetch and he loves his toys. He loves being petted and likes to snuggle. He can be aggressive to other male dogs, but is generally friendly. He isn’t the best with small children, but will get along just fine with older kids. He is prefect for someone with a yard and time.

Lola is a pure breed, spayed, microchippedal, all the shots are up to date, she has no health issues. She has been with our family for the last 5 years. She loves to walk, swim, play in the yard wih the stick, toys inside the house and run fast. She was one of 7 from the first litter. She is currently sharing her space with her 4 yo brother and they have been best friends since we brought him home when he was 6 weeks old.

Story
Fanny is a loving, affectionate, smart little girl. However, she has two other dog mates that are not fond of her and we do not feel it is safe for her to be here .... one is a big guy who is 15, the other smaller, same age as Fanny (5) and intensely jealous. They go at her constantly. We fostered her from friends little more than a year ago in hopes this would be her forever home. But it just won't work. She was in a horder situation most of her life, and then with a very senior woman (93) who just couldn't care for her. She does have some housebreaking issues, but is getting better. She takes time to warm up, but once she gets there, think velcro. She is more comfortable with women but has loved my husband. She loves to sleep under the covers. She loves to eat. She travels really well. She is darling. But I am afraid that harm will come to her with the other dogs. We do love her but she deserves better.

Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a wonderful boy that is about 4 years old and roughly 60lbs. He was surrendered to us when the family dynamic changed in his home and they could no longer have him. He has bounced around a few homes in his life and is looking for a consistent permanent home to love on him. He did live successfully in the home with another dog, but can be reactive with new dogs. He could possibly live in a home with another dog with a proper introduction. He tends to chase cats, but not hurt them so that is up to the potential adopter on whether or not they think he would be a good fit if there are already cats in the home. He would do best in a home with older children or adults that will give him space while he's eating. Buddy is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Buddy please fill out an application at al-van.org. *Some pet-finding websites aside from our own are very slow to update after an animal is adopted, and this is outside of our control. To see the most up-to-date list of animals available, please go to al-van.org/adopt.*
