Story
Guinness is the sweetest dog. He’s very gentle and loving, but he requires a ton of attention. Attention that unfortunately we can’t give him at our current stage of life. Without attention he becomes anxious and pees inside. He will throw other fits out of anxiety such as moving his food bowl all around the house, digging the floor, peeing and pooping around the house. With a ton of attention, these behaviors are less. We got Guinness from a pet store when he was six months old and have been his only owners. He will be 13 at the end of September. He is still very healthy, but does seem to have some hearing loss. We don’t really want to re-home him, but we know it’s not fair to him to keep him with us since he’s not getting the attention he needs and deserves. He needs a home where he is preferably the only pet and can be given a lot of attention.

Story
I’ve had Bentley and Mia since they were 8 weeks old. I got them from two different farms. Bentley is 4 months older, he turned 5 on 10/26 and Mia will turn 5 on 1/5. I got a divorce and had to move to a small house and between them and my 2 year old there’s just not enough space. They love being inside with their people but love hanging out outside on the deck as well. They are both great dogs and I’ve tried making it work here with them because I want more than anything to keep them but they deserve the best and I can’t give that to them anymore. Bentley is my lover boy, he’s so sweet and loving and such a cuddle bug. Mia is my lazy nap buddy. Whether it’s laying on the couch or laying in a dirt spot outside you can always find her napping somewhere

Story
Meet Koda, the 1 year old husky boy! This handsome fella is looking for his forever home! The typical husky, Koda is a talkative pup, who loves to sing the songs of his people! Ha! Walks well on a leash. This animal was one of the pups involved in a hoarding/puppy mill/neglect case where more than 60 animals were removed from a local residence. As with any animal we adopt out, we ask that you treat your new fur baby with love, patience and kindness. What they have experienced in their short lives is not fair. They deserve a happily ever after to their previously sad story. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out an application, using the link below. Please specify which dog you are interested in. Applications without a specific dog, or otherwise incomplete, will not be considered. Adoption fee is $225. Includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, and microchipping. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ITAV/Dog For more pictures and information on this pup, please visit our website at https://www.ittakesavillage.dog/adopt We're excited to partner with Hill's Pet Nutrition for NBC & Telemundo's annual Clear The Shelters event! #Hillspet #cleartheshelters @hillspet #ClearTheShelters is here! @HillsPet and @TheAnimalRescueSite are making weekly matching donations August 10-September 10 and we need your support!
