Story
Quimby is a 2 year old very loveable, but high energy dog!! He will need room to run and play. Its probably best if your yard is fenced in. He does do well on a lead, but likes the freedom of running. He does jump up when greeting someone. He can walk on a leash, but he does pull if he sees other animals or people. He does best in a harness, rather than a collar. Due to his size and tail (he can really whip you with it haha) I would recommend he does not go to a home with small children. He loves kids but I wouldn't want him to knock anyone over. He does not like cats, he will chase them. He has been around other dogs (an English Bulldog and an English Shepherd) and does well with them. Rehoming at no fault of the dog!! Owner has brain tumor

Our handsome man Peele is still looking for his forever home! This sweet man and his brother were found as strays in April, though with some investigation we do suspect that they were dumped. They were in incredibly poor condition, so they needed some pretty intense TLC before we were comfortable putting them up for adoption. Peele is a great man, he doesn't mind other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats either! He keeps a clean kennel here at HSNWIA. Peele is a great boy, don't let him pass you by! He is such a sweetheart and is doing great with his training as well as learning to trust! Kittle would do best as an only dog in an adult only household and can take a little bit to warm up but once he does he's the sweetest man!
