Story
Sugar is a 9mo old lab bully mix..alot more lab than bully and she's a big girl! She was loved but never exposedto the world outside of her home resulting in alot of fear..her go to is to drop to the ground and hope to the heavens that no one can see her. We are working on just walking with a leash and that's a huge ask for her..she does make progress every day. She needs a family that can help her..the biggest need is time and patience. Of you can give her alot of time fo4 a few months she will be perfect havi g a guide dog (calm and confident dog to lead her and help her learn normal dog behavior) she loves peopleand kids but does not know her size and she is very strong especially when frightened and her flight instinct kicks in. Sh3 needs a family ready to help her and give her the best life. Please contact us for your adoption application she has 6 siblings also looking for homes.

Story
These pups were born in a foster home. Sadly theor mother and her bestie were dumped at a vet clinic. Tbey are now ready for homes of their own!! All boys, fully vetted except rabies. Neutered, shots, wormed flea prevention and chipped!! They will need rabies by 6mo of age. The vet marked them as beagle mixes guessing just because of their color but we see alot if Doxi and maybe some rat terrier. They are little kitties. If you are ready to give a loving pup a forever family please reach out and get your application in!!

Story
We picked up Moonie and his son, Loofy, in Tucson from an overwhelmed young woman (5 dogs in a tiny house & yard). We were hoping to keep them both, but the vet says Moonie has “sibling syndrome” with Loofy. He has resource aggression with Loofy and is very anxious & high strung whenever Loofy is around. When the other dogs are outdoors and it’s just Moonie and us, Moonie is amazingly calm and I can see how much happier he would be as an only-dog. Moonie LOVES his toys! He enjoys all manner of playing, from fetch to tug of war. He knows sit, down, shake, and can “stay” longer than any dog we’ve ever had. He is friendly with humans right away, and bonds quickly. He’s very affectionate and loves to chill and get rubs on the couch. Moonie would make a great companion for someone looking for an only-dog situation. Adoption fee will be donated to a local shelter. We are willing to drive him out-of-state for the right home.

Story
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** This pretty girl is Nova! She is the mom to the GSD/Mastiff pups. Nova came from a home of neglect for many years.  She is very much a shepherd in personality and an experienced and patient owner would be what she needs to thrive!  Nova is about 5 years old and for all of those years her life has lacked consistency, stability, a reliable food source. Even water was a resource that was limited.  She has likely not always been treated kindly either and training was not a priority in her life.  However, even given the challenges this girl has faced she is eager to love.  She very much wants to do a good job and she is excited to see the people that have shown her gentle loving attention.  Nova would probably do best as an only dog or with a confident gentle dog that could show her how things are done.  Nova is cautious when meeting people for the first time but warms up quickly. The shelter environment does cause her some anxiety but we feel she would do wonderful on a schedule in a home where she understood what was expected of her in an environment that was focused on physical and mental exercises.  She is gentle with toys and not destructive.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is 275.00 It is Nova's time to shine....she just needs the right home to help her on the rest of her journey to a happy ever after! November 4, 2024, 8:52 pm
