Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- St. Petersburg, FL Parker is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 40 lbs. He is up to date on shots, but isn’t neutered or on heartworm prevention. Parker is nervous around strangers! He is good with children and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Parker has bitten the owner twice and his wife once. The first time he bit the owner was in November 2023. The owner went to pick up a toy while Parker was under a chair, which led to Parker biting his left foot. Parker also bit his wife on a separate occasion while she was petting him on the couch. She tried to push him away and he bit her left arm. The most recent bite was on 6/12/24. The owner came home late. Parker was sitting in the hallway against the wall. The owner tried getting close to him, resulting Parker biting his left hand. The owner is surrendering him because of these bite incidents. They’re also expecting a baby. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Parker, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Story

In Parish, FL Amigo is 6 years old and a very good boy. The only issue is that he can be very shy and nervous when strangers approach him or come toward his direction. He is excellent in the house. I have left him several times for about 4 hours max so far and he just sleeps on the bed. He is house broken. Walks well on leash. Very chill in the house. Very good in the car. I think he would do best in a house that is active. He loves walking. I think another dog would be good for him. Older kids would be fine. No cats as he does have high prey drive. His person needs to take it slow with him and give plenty of praise as he loves to be told how good he is❤️❤️❤️❤️. Fenced in yard where he can run is best. He isi neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 5.5 years old ~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. We will be offering continuing training if you are within 50 miles of us and a discounted rate. A little insecure and over protective at times but working on that with my foster parents. Get along with my foster sister but not sure about other dogs or other animals. I get a lil anxious when I'm left alone. I will do better with older children and other people with proper introduction. Still working on being house train and crate train, but doing better. Meet Tozi She is a Xolo mix who came from horrible conditions of a backyard breeder in Alabama. She takes a small bit to warm up to new people, holding true to the Xolo breed. So an understanding person is the best fit for her. Once warmed up, she is the sweetest girl there is and has so much love to offer. She does also have some vision impairments but that does not affect her sweet personality once warmed up! Skin care is pretty simple with her and so does loved to be oiled/exfoliated She is Up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, Heartworm Negative and on Heartworm Prevention. She is also- House Trained Crate Trained Great Leash manners after you build a bond with her when it comes to seeing other dogs Has a good handle on Basic Obedience commands Leave-it, and Kennel are pretty solid as well She will be best as an only dog or with someone who has experience with dogs and has a dog her size as she does offer some resource guarding tendencies but can be managed with proper integration.
