Story
Bao and Tang are ready for their forever home and have a discounted adoption fee when adopted together! They've come so far from the scared, emaciated, filthy and sick overbred pocket bullies that were dumped on the streets together. They are sweet, goofy, playful and do great together including sharing beds and toys with each other. We are offering $100 off total adoption fees for these guys. They would thrive together having a buddy they know and trust. No kitties or pocket pets as both can be prey driven. Email us at aldr@animalluvrs.org for more info! Our adoption applications are on our website: WWW.ANIMALLUVRS.ORG All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.
We'll also keep you updated on Tang's adoption status with email updates.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
ADOPT ME! We are sad to announce that Chase from the Paw Patrol litter is back with ALDR, because his family did not think he was a good fit any longer. Handsome fella is now a year and a half old, about 80Ibs, incredibly sweet, but nervous around new friends and takes time to warm up. We are working on helping him build his confidence and helping him feel safe and loved! Chase is well behaved, crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash! He can sometimes be dog selective, so he would do best in a home without another dog or with a patient adopter who is willing to do a slow and proper introduction to be sure he will get along with any other furry friends. He doesn't seem to react to squirrels or cats while out and about in the neighborhood, but he has barked at his foster guinea pig brother, because he was a little scared of him. Chase is currently in a home with children and doing well, but may not do well with all children since his fear reactions can sometimes be intimidating. His ideal home would be with a family that is willing to give him time to adjust and reassure him he is safe and loved. He has also started professional training to help him manage his reactions when scared and we are recommending he continues to make sure he is set up for success. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Tricia is a fun-loving, spayed, ~45lbs, compact bundle of joy! Tricia loves to play with other dogs, toys, and water hoses. Tricia has lived with cats and does best with confident cats. Small foster kittens are a little too exciting for her, but this is expected for such a playful pup. Tricia enjoys mental and physical enrichment including food puzzles and would make an excellent hiking or other adventure buddy. Tricia was a hit with several Tampa Bay Buccaneers players at a recent event and has never met a stranger! Tricia has only been around children briefly during events and has taken treats gently from them but may accidentally knock smaller children over. Tricia responds very well to positive reinforcement training techniques and responds to the cues sit, shake/paw, down (as in lay down), off (great to use when tempting counter treats are within sniffing range!), touch, and place. Tricia is also house trained! Tricia can sometimes get a little overwhelmed and extra excited but is easily redirected with toys and/or treats. If you're looking for a dog who will be your partner for all of your fun activities, Tricia is your girl!! All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. Hope and Buck The verdict is in - these two are amazing! Hope is certainly the more shy out of the two, but that doesn't stop her from leaning in for soft scratches and gentle snuggles. Buck (a terrier mix with a Boxer like smile) can't contain his excitement when he sees a human or another pup! He is such a good boy! He does the absolute cutest tippy tap dance while wagging his tail that honest to goodness melts our hearts every time we see it. Here's what we've observed so far: Hope is a sugar pie! housebroken crate trained gentle on the leash a perfect passenger can be shy at first (but still leans in for love) dog friendly loves affection Buck is a snugglebug! housebroken crate trained (but prefers to be next to you) pulls slightly on the leash but is easily corrected a perfect passenger outgoing and curious when meeting new friends dog friendly loves affection BOTH pups are incredibly sweet and grateful for every little thing they get (beds, treats, toys), but most of all, LOVE. They are working on mastering basic commands and top-notch leash skills in their foster home. And while we'd love for them to find a home together, these two can be separated if the perfect homes come along. If you're interested in adopting Hope and/or Buck, fill out an application at https://animalluvrs.org/ All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.
