Dolly is a very sweet and loving dog for a family with no young kids and no cats. She loves to snuggle and loves to play. She can be protective so it is better that she lives with a family with no young kids. She is fully house trained and knows advanced commands (heel, sit, stay, down, place). She is a rescue dog that was found abandoned in a construction site. She will make a loyal and loving companion to the right family.

Story
Meet August, a stray female hound who has stolen our hearts. This sweet girl was found in the Redlands area, which is notorious for dog dumping. August had been spotted days ago, pregnant and with three other dogs. We believe she gave birth within the last two to three weeks, but her puppies are nowhere to be found. Her milk seems to have dried up so we are not sure if the puppies even made it. Thanks to the Good Samaritan who found her, August is now under our care, receiving: - Deworming treatment - Fungal testing (results pending) - Heart worm test (negative) - Treating mild anemia - Spaying and vaccination when she is cleared Now, we need YOUR help! - URGENT FOSTER NEEDED: We can't afford boarding, so a temporary home is crucial for August. - DONATIONS: Support August's care through our website, directly to our vet or via the options below. With your support, we know August will find the perfect home through us at South Florida Beagle Rescue, because that's what she deserves.
