Story
11/9/24. Come on, folks! It's me, BETH, and I have been here for 7 months waiting for my forever family. Surely there's someone out there for me. I may not be a purebred Dobie, but I'm 100% lovebug. I am 3 years old, playful, loving, smart, walk nicely on a leash, and ride well in a car. When I meet you, I will probably just roll on my back for a belly rub. I like other calm male dogs or am content being the only princess in the home. PLEASE keep sharing me. I want to go home! 10/2/24.  This absolutely adorable 3 vr old dobie rottie mix from MDAS is hoping October is her lucky month to find her family. BETH is a joyful girl that loves to play and then cuddle with her humans. She loves to roll on her back for belly rubs. She walks well on a leash, rides nicely in car and knows basic commands. She is great with older children/ teens. She is dog selective, may be best as only princess. No cats. 8/6/24.  Beautiful BETH still waiting on her furever family. This 3 year old Dobie Rottie mix is a playful bundle of joy. Walks lovely on leash. She is dog selective but would probably be best as only princess in house.  Cats unkown 5/20/24 update  Meet Beautiful BETH! This all natural 2-3year old dober girl is sweet as sugar. She adores everyone she meets, will roll over for a belly rub, and likes to play in the water. She has a wonderful calm temperament. Good with other dogs and children. Cats unkown as she is from MDAS. 5/15/24.  Meet Beth! This three year old all natural dober girl is 100% lovebug! She is very friendly and loving with everyone she meets. While we have not had a chance to try her with other dogs yet, she appears very calm and non reactive. She likes kids. She will make a loyal companion to one lucky family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
11/15/24. RODDY needs your HELP!!! Our adorable 7-month-old honorary Dobie from Puerto Rico is losing his amazing foster this week as she is moving out of state. This sweet and gentle boy is a bit shy but with patience, love, and gentle guidance, he will thrive. He is not only adorable but is very smart too. He does well with our Molly and other dogs outside but would be best as the only king canine in the home. PLEASE if you can foster RODDY or would like to adopt him, he would be ever so grateful. He is petrified in boarding. 08/15/24 His history: From his Rescue All Sato Rescue in Puerto Rico. He was just three weeks old when a friend heard him yelp across a busy street. It was early evening and luckily there wasn't a lot of traffic. She alerted a neighbor and between the two of them, they kept him from crossing and were able to trap him.He was covered with fleas. One of our volunteers was able to get him and take him directly to the vet. He is now free of fleas. He is a playful pup and a fast learner. We estimate his date of birth as April 15. 10/13/24 Roddy is still looking for his furever family .. someone that will love him forever .. he is a 6 1/2 month old Doberman mix who is a total love bug. He loves other dogs small and big.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
11/15/24. Hello from TIGER! Hi everyone, don't forget about me. I'm a good boy who likes to play with my toys, go for walks, roll in the grass, and be near my humans. I had a terrible owner who did not take good care of me, especially when I broke my leg. Thankfully, my kind veterinarian Dr. Sierra advocated for me and helped me get to the rescue. So if you're in the market looking for an adorable young dober boy to be your best friend, I am your guy. I prefer to be the only prince in the house and no cats or kids, since I have never been around them. Thanks for sharing me. Love, Tiger 9/8/24. Good morning from TIGER! For those of you that don’t know my story I’m a 2 year old boy that lived with another female Dobie and a not so very good owner who did not take very good care of us. I broke my leg last December and I went to the amazing vet Dr Sierra who took great care of me but she was not happy with the shape I was in - I was skinny and in pain. The owner did not bring me back for follow up as scheduled and 2 months later I once again returned to vet in very bad shape, very skinny with flesh rotting off the bone. The vet asked the owner to surrender us to her but he of course refused. Fast forward to 1 month ago the vet gets a call from SC shelter that owner has surrendered us in horrible shape and I, Tiger have a knee injury on top of the poorly healed leg injury so she contacted rescues that would be willing to take these 2 dober furkids who have been thru so much. Of course we couldn’t refuse and so with the help of Dr. Sierra the veterinarian who advocated so strongly for us and helped with some of our vetting we are safe at with Doberman Rescue. Unfortunately I reopened my knee wound and had to stay another 5 days back at our vet but now I am back and looking for a foster or foster to adopt while I heal. Despite everything I have been through I absolutely love people and even with all my cones on I just want to be near you to give kisses. I like other female dogs and when I am healed would love to walk by your side and be your loyal companion. Please if you can even foster me temporarily while I heal that would be wonderful. I promise to repay you with so much Dobie love. Get your apps in for TIGER, please share me to help me find my forever home with an owner that will love and care for me . Thanks in advance.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). 11/5/24.  Meet DIANA! This adorable petite 2-year-old dober gal finds herself at the rescue through no fault of her own. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is ever so sweet and very loving. She gets along great with other dogs. She can use some training but listens very well and learns quickly. Story
12/15/24  Four-year-old JOHNNY is a stunning doberman hoping to find his furever home for the holidays. His owner was moving and says she didn't have room for him. Having spent most of his life living outside, this big 100-pound-plus boy will need training and leash manners. He is a favorite among our male volunteers and is doing great learning to walk well on a leash, but needs a committed, knowledgeable adopter who will continue to work with him so he can be the best version of himself. He likes other dogs but would be best suited with another female or as the only king canine in the house. He is neutered and ready to go home and be your best friend. Get your apps in for JOHNNY! 11/7/24.  Johnny is a beautiful boy who requires leash training and housebreaking. He is affectionate towards both dogs and humans and understands Spanish. Potential adopters should have the time and patience to train him and a tall backyard fence is necessary. It is unknown how he interacts with cats.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
12/10/24.  We are desperate to find a local foster for our beautiful lady UMA, who needs a soft place to land. UMA is another Redlands dump found with a mass on her bladder, and fortunately, she was able to make her way to us. She is about 4-5 years old, incredibly sweet, and loves to carry around her stuffy babies. While she likes other dogs, she would be best as the only dog for now but may do well with another male her size. No small dogs or cats. Good with older children. She is spayed. We are still awaiting the results of her bladder mass biopsy and would love to find her a comfy spot for her and her "stuffy babies." She has a lot of love to give! Let's get UMA home for the holidays! 11/9/24.  Uma, a 6-year-old dog, was discovered in the Redlands and is scheduled for spaying and the removal of some growths. She is a sweet and calm lady who gets along with other dogs, but her interaction with cats is unknown.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
