Story
Tuna Luna was found living under a home in Lake Worth hiding from the kids in the neighborhood who used to throw rocks at her. The person whose home she was living under took her in and fostered her as long as she could but eventually had to let her go due to her life circumstances. She then went to live with her neighbor who was older and had 3 older dogs, and sweet Tuna is very active and was too much for the seniors. This is how she ended up at Animal Care and Control where she was extremely stressed and scared and ended up on the urgent list due to this. We pulled her out right before she was sent to be euthanized and she is in a temporary foster home and doing wonderfully. Tuna Luna is a very active girl. She loves to run, play fetch, and is great off leash. Tuna Luna would be great for someone with a backyard where she can run or with a very active lifestyle who loves to go on runs, hikes, walks and to the beach. She is very obedient and eager to please. Very quick learner. To see more photos or videos please go to my instagram @kellysfostersflorida or Kelly's Fosters on FB

Story
Beautiful Nebula came into Palm Beach County Animal care and Control and immediately became overly stressed and was added to the euthanasia list. We pulled her thanks to a comitted foster who refused her as soon as transport showed up. Why? She has a loud bark. She is a very sweet girl, very smart and very mellow, yet she is absolutely terrified of a crate. She loves to go on walks but needs some reactivity training when she sees another dog. Pit Bull Terrier Mixed Breed (Medium)

Juno Beach, FL
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Romeo and his bonded sister Gabby were adopted from Animal Care and Control as puppies in 2013 and 2014. Then in April they were dropped back off at Animal Care and Control to be euthanized. The vet determined they were healthy and should be eligible for adoption, but sadly after month or so, due to the overcrowding at the shelter they landed themselves on the euthanasia list. That is when I decided to take them into my care. Sadly I don't have room for them at home so they are in boarding. They need a home even if it's just a foster home as this is no way for them to spend the end of their lives. Romeo is a sweet, lively boy who loves to play and loves his sister. She was adopted through a foster many years ago. She is 15 years old, is fun loving, and likes to go on long walks. She gets anxious when she hears loud noises like thunder. I am looking for a home that will have patience with a senior dog and a house filled with love for dogs.
