Story
Chacha is a bouncy little girl who came from a difficult situation, in a home with over 100 other little dogs.  She seems so happy to be getting attention and wags her tail whenever she hears her name!  Loves to snuggle. She is an excellent jumper and might have a future in agility. Chacha is working on her leash skills, but seems to be housebroken.  She is about 10 pounds (though she could stand to gain a little weight), about 2 years old and cute as can be!   She is now up to date on all her vaccines and has been spayed. Chacha definitely prefers female humans, but loves other dogs of all varieties! Applications for Chacha are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.November 22, 2024, 5:37 pm

Story
Jorah is a good boy and he knows it!  Easy going and usually has a smile on his face.  He is about 7 years old, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.  Jorah is good with other dogs and with cats and great in the car too.  He weighs about 25 pounds.  All he needs is a home of his own!  Jorah would do best in a home where the humans or other fuzzy friends are around most of the time as he has minor separation anxiety (he cries).   Applications for Jorah are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.November 7, 2024, 8:51 am

Story
Stitch is a 9 pound chihuahua mix boy who we think is about 15 months old. He makes the best goofy faces! Stitch is outgoing but has anxiety around new people and other dogs (whether he sees them or just hears them), so he needs someone that is familiar either with Chihuahuas or dogs with anxiety. He is a barker when scared. He does love to run to his humans for comfort and likes to be held and babied. He is a playful little guy when he feels comfortable. Making good progress with housebreaking. While in foster care, Stitch has been working on some new skills.  He is now fully crate trained, knows how to play fetch and will bring you your shoes (whether you have asked for them or not).  He will also bravely catch any spiders for you! Story
Tobin is a sweet boy, about 6 years old and 13 pounds.   He is learning what it means to be spoiled by his foster mom. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Housebroken (outdoors and/or pee pads), loves the bath, happy to meet both new people and other dogs.  Good on a leash and enjoys long walks.  Pretty quiet.  Would be a great senior companion.  Possibly a mix of Cairn Terrier and Corgi as well as Chihuahua.  Major lap hog.   Applications for Tobin are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions. We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes. December 16, 2024, 9:16 pm

Story
Oona is a little terrier mix with incredible climbing ability (easily scaling a 3 foot gate!). She loves her toys, especially tennis balls. Housebroken and quiet. This little girl had been a stray for a while, but was taken in by a wonderful family who took care of socializing her and getting her up to date on her medical needs so she would be ready to be adopted. She is still hesitant around new people, but warms up quickly. Other dogs are difficult for her- if she accepts them, she needs to be the alpha. Her records say she is 5-6 years old, but we suspect she is a little younger. About 13 pounds. A little bit of a diamond in the "ruff", Oona is ready for her forever home! Applications for Oona are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.  December 16, 2024, 9:16 pm
